hi again ..
Talked to chris shays about the idea. He wasn't impressed.
I proposed making a DVD from one of T B 's presentations.
This may work at colleges, if they make the DVD we can use
to show. Got some support from regional leaders.

Hi
I'm thinking about a petition to be sent to US congressmen. The wording could be tricky. I want to get as many students as possible to agree on a statement they will sign. I would like the speaker of the house to allow debate on the issue but that maybe politically sensitive to some.
Lots of people want to do something to help NOW. I thought about it and decided to drive on RT 95 at the 55 mph speed limit.
Then ask people who commute to sign a pledge to drive at least one day a week at 55 mph. It gives them a way to help right away.
Do you think it might fly ?

Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I don't have any engineering experience though a memeber of my family has been toying around with these kinds of ideas for awhile now. I try to keep up any reading material on the subject and have also been switching to energy saving items.
What excites you about this campaign?
No more pollution from oil!
What do you want to do to help?
I would love to do anything in my power to help. I'm a student without a lot of money but campaigning or even fund raising events on campus would be great.

Welcome.
Which part of Ct. are you in. I'm in Fairfield .
Didn't want to duplicate an effort at a local university.
