Nothing yet, but very interested in wind farms. Wind farms relatively new around where I grew up - north of the Wichita mountains.

What excites you about this campaign?

One word - hope.

YOU CAN HELP BY BRINGING 5 FOLKS TO JOIN the site today, so that we can build a voice big enough that Congress will finally have to listen to us, instead of the lobbyists and special interests, who will certainly try to derail this historic effort.

PLEASE DOWLOAD THE PLEDGE on the main page. Print out 10 or more of them, get them signed and fax them back ASAP. When we are millions strong, we can achieve this.
In addition to the PLEDGE, we now also have a RED "CONTACT CONGRESS" BUTTON on the main page, top right. Fill out the standard form and the letter is sent to YOUR Governor and Washington Representatives! Easy breezy. Perfect timing considering the energy bill is coming up. We must beat back the lobbyists!

THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
...to wait and see...or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS
We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Write to your Congressman/woman. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan.

A GROUP FOR EVERYONE
Check out the many groups for Solar, CNG, your city or state, etc. Connect, learn and share. We grow stronger with your input. If you don't see a group that speaks to your interest, then start a group of your own.

Not necessarily the meeting, but the calls to the Boards of Regents to get them to create curricula that supports solar, wind, and hydrogen energy. Hope you don't mind my reply. You have great talent and I recommend the Actors, Artists and Director's Group for some other things you can do. I love the flowers photo...Peace, and have a wonderful Sunday! I hope someone at the meeting will keep a record of what happens and share it with everyone. I'm anxious to be involved, just can't that day. Hope you'll be able to go.

Someone seems to be organizing an OKC meeting that day, but, of course I'll be gone. I have high hopes for the PickensPlan and it has to start somewhere!
