Yes

Recently, I've been looking at various aspects of our local infrastructure, including energy. The problem is readily apparent. Not only is our consumption going up, but the world's oil production cannot be sustained. Our whole constellation of options need to be implemented.
What excites you about this campaign?
We need a plan! Our kids need us to have a system in place that gets us off this run-a-way train!
What do you want to do to help?
Anything I can.

Our vision at EnergyTalk Radio is to find corporate sponsors for EnergyTalk on school campuses in every region. Check out my groups/discussions; the schedule for energytalk LIVE is at AlternativeEnergy.com
Hey, I'm not even sure what we can/are supposed to do. I'm up to being part of a group or something. Hell - I'll go volunteer to labor on damn windmills somewhere! Let me know.

Start a Bako group. Go to the top of the page and click on groups. Then click on "create a group". Follow the directions. Pretty simple. Then you can organize us all online.
We need to perform a very thorough investigation of all of the regulations surrounding the wind turbine industry. Identifying onerous regulations is very important if we want to see the industry grow for small business. You need more than incentive, which are helpful for startup companies but the distribution of those incentives and grants must be readily available to everyone.
Since many government agencies do not consult industry professionals when making regulations some of the regulations tend to create market suppression. Those regulations need to be identified and streamlined so the market can be kick started. My primary interest has been finding problems in natural gas conversion since it would spur hydrogen technology research.
I am going to begin researching the regulations on wind concerning certification and production costs. I will concentrate my efforts on the granting of funds process. It seems when budding inventors and developers ask for information about availability of funds the run around routine begins.
What can EPA do to assist a budding wind turbine builders become successful?
1. Develop a comprehensive guide to grant approval requirements.
2. Develop a testing guide for wind turbines.
3. Supply financial tools such as excel spreadsheet kits that covers data consolidation from testing.
4. Develop a comprehensive guide to the certification process (this could be the most important process of all).
5. Analyze the cost of the certification process.
Develop points like these before you begin your research so you do not get lost in the mountain of regulations surrounding the wind industry. There could be a problem hidden in the certification process that has suppressed the market.
Places to begin search – Department of Energy and EPA.
It will take an exhaustive search from many people to identify all of the problem areas. Why don’t you start a discussion forum. Find as many supporters as you can and begin an information sharing routine as the research moves forward. Find those interested in the research and invite them to your forum. It will surprise you how many regulations were poorly written.
