- I received my license right at the time gas prices skyrocketed. I have seen the problem our country faces and I know we have to fix it. If we don't, my children could go through the same thing when they receive their licenses.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- I love this campaign because I know it will work. It is simple, yet heavily effective, and it can and must be implemented.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I will do whatever it takes to get the word out. I'm only 19, but I have written many school reports on the plan, as well as promoted it immensely on my blog. I also try to tell as many of my peers as possible to check this site out.

I am aware there are a growing number of unemployed people in our community affected by the stagnant national economic conditions. I am also aware that many of these people feel powerless. They believe the only things they can do to improve their personal situation is continue searching for employment and watch the current political administration try to do what they can to turn things around. I would like to give everyone, including those who are currently employed, another option.
The Pickens’s Plan is a national group with one basic driving principal: The American Dollar should stay in America and should not be sent to the Middle East as payment for our energy. We have surplus natural domestic resources that could be used to supply our country with all of the energy that it would ever need, creating massive savings and job creation in the process. Obama gave a terrific speech Friday from a wind turbine parts manufacturing facility in Ohio. Now is the time to keep up the pressure. We ARE changing the way everyone in this country looks at the energy crisis, and how it directly effects our economy, environment and national security.

Without Energy Independence, Americans will not have future economy goals. Neither for short term or long term… Will Americans people, Congress, and new President-Elect Barack Obama work with T Boone Pickens Plan, to fix this problem. Good Luck

I am one of the welcome wagon crew. We are all volunteers. Out of sheer numbers I greet daily I have a paste and copy note.
It is not intended to overwhelm you, just give you a direction and some contacts. I do read every profile page.
We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.
For those of you that have already jumped in and have made contact with your local leader- thanks.
*************Please, I ask the first sites you visit to get accurate info and articles to see pretty much what the plan is about and where the plan stands, and please come back to these sites often as changes take place regularly. Some are long, please; take the time to get all the details.

There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
