- I am so tired of spending a fortune on fuel to go to work, Last month it cost me $916.00 to go to work. We need another alternative. I really do not have any experience with alternative energy, I would really like to help.

I am John Osborn. I am the new District FL-11 Leader for Pickens Plan. Come and visit our website and look at both the Events scheduled with movers and shakers in the nation and community as well as the new and updated data on the District FL-11 page. Add yourself to my friend list and also the District Group. If you attend one of our meetings, you will see the Pickens Plan has had new life breathed into it. Bring a friend, we have plenty of seating. We are having a guest speaker Thursday August 13th at 7:30 PM…see the Events tab on Pickens Plan website for maps and additional information.

THAT is exactly WHAT I am doing........the logo to the left is what I do........I created a Social Change Website called '''Wind4me''' and would LOVE to have you spreading the WORD about Wind Power by pushing our window decals in Florida..........its all about one person at a time and then somebody at the grocery store sees somebodies window sticker about WIND and then they go and join PickensPlan and off we go............maybe they sign UP for 100% WIND POWER to their home or business

Welcome and THANK YOU for joining Pickens Plan.
Please bring 5 folks to join the site today, so that we can build a big enough voice that Congress will finally have to listen to us, instead of the lobbyists and special interest, who will certainly try to derail this historic effort.
THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
…to wait and see…or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost. How frightening to think that we could be looking back and apologizing to our children that we could not to get this done when we had the chance.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS
We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Write to your Congressman/woman. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan. Print downloadable flyers and put them in your car and/or business window.
A GROUP FOR EVERYONE
Check out the many groups for Solar, CNG, scientists, etc. Connect, learn and share. We grow stronger with your input. If you don't see a group that speaks to your interest, then start a group of your own.
