Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

I am an Independent EcoPreneur with The Powur of Citizenre, and also in the process of getting my General Contractor's license here in Lexington, Kentucky. I plan to specialize in solar construction and alternative energy systems, though all other jobs and work are quite welcome.

What excites you about this campaign?

I am glad to see that the world is finally waking up to what us hippies were saying back in the 60's and 70's. If they had heeded us then, we would not be in the mess we are now. The future will be much brighter for the world when these technologies are fully implemented globally, and we are now well ojn the way! Now that's REALLY GROOVY!

What do you want to do to help?

Keep on doing what I'm doing now and get as many others involved as I can, if nothing more than for them just to be a voice for what's needed.

Feels like a revolution!
I have got some discussions up about what is keeping Kentucky on the back burner when it comes to renewables.
I hope you'll check it out, give some input, and get ready to write and send some letters with us! I have been researching what's going on with our state and I know we can get the process started.

Kentucky Mesonet is a state funded project that is putting up environmental monitoring stations across kentucky, this is going to get us all better data and show where renewable projects would work, they also moniter solar radiation.
I am from Harlan county, I know for a fact that those folks would rather be on the porch watching the blades turn on a windmill than lying on their bellies shoveling coal, or running a high wall miner all day.
If we make the right steps collectivly it could happen in as little as 3 years!
Lets get started!
