- I have previously owned a Nikken Wellness Home in Palm Desert, CA and currently use green energy light bulbs. I unplug things not in use, recycle and more. I would love to see ALL the communities in SoCal desert use solar power, but because of HOA's and people retired on fixed incomes...it seems hopeless as they all say it is costly and complicated. Why????
