- Studied alternative energy over 25 years ago. Built my first solar panel as a college student. Was inspired by a calculus teacher who built a working windmill in the school parking lot. It all just made such good sense.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- The fact that T.Boone has a definite plan for our energy independence. I also admire Boone because he has no hidden adgenda - he has made his fortune - and now he is working to help solve a major problem that will all of us if don't do something about it now!
- What do you want to do to help?
- Am great with Excel, administrative work and have a history of sales success. What would Boone like me to do to help?

This year I have helped so many members learn about personal home energy plans. It's all about power use, conservation, and home power generation, things I have been doing at my residence to lower my energy costs. Send me a friend request a to add me Binger, I'd be honored to have you as a friend here.
BTW, Michigan: I just posted an article on my page about Home Wind Systems in Michigan. Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "soft policy" on Net Metering. Instead they have the tables turned against green power for businesses and homeowners. You should read that article, important.
I want to help push the plan in Lansing and surrounding areas. Willing to do whatever it takes. Keep me informed on any and all events, etc in our area.
I see that you are trying to head up the 8th district with pickens plan. I want to put our area on the map. If you would like to get together and put a plan together about getting more people on board. I do have some great networking channels, but want to understand what all this intails first.

(2) In addition to political support and action, I encourage you to consider a Personal Energy Plan in which you take control of your electricity by using home energy systems. That's what I do for a living, help people with their own home systems. I will be glad to help you and answer any questions. Below is some info and links that will give you an idea of where to start.

PICKENS U has been formed for college and university students to get involved. If you know of a student who would like to become an ambassador to helped coordinate the pledge drive please submit names to Pickens U site. This would be good for job resume.
THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
…to wait and see…or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONSWe need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan.
A GROUP FOR EVERYONE. Join the Guides and Materials for New Members Group. Lot's of good information there.
Check out the many groups for Solar, CNG, your area, etc. Connect, learn and share. We grow stronger with your input. If you don't see a group that speaks to your interest, then start a group of your own.
