- What excites you about this campaign?
- I feel, and my friend had the same reaction when I showed her the plan, that for the first time I am hearing someone speak calmly, intelligently and sensibly about a real problem. I don't want to see the subject of our energy crisis reduced to yet another ideological war. We need pragmatic, smart-minded leaders with a clear vision and a healthy dose of American common-sense. Mr. Pickens struck that chord with me.

- I keep long hours at work, so my availability is limited. My written communication is strong, and I am happy to volunteer time to help develop written materials, blogs, or written correspondence. But I am happy to discuss other ways in which you feel I may be helpful.
