Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
Being in the stock brokerage business I've been involved with Chesapeake, Clean Energy, Devon, Sandridge etc stocks. I have followed the use of CNG for years and now am studying wind power, solar etc. Its time to start use common sense,
What excites you about this campaign?
Since cheap oil is gone, and we are dependent on foreign oil, and we are sending $$ to the mideast, its time to make our presidental candidates and congress make a pledge to do everything they can to support the Pickens plan. Again, time to use common sense.
What do you want to do to help?
What ever the plan needs in Oklahoma i'm ready to help. Solicit members, work with the federal, state, county, city political establishments, distribute info, or whatever else is needed..

Great Causes bring out great people. As a 25-year veteran in Power Generation & Energy Development, let me thank you for getting involved and extend an offer to provide insight and assistance in your local effort. This is a very doable plan and it starts with people like you in making it a success. The key to the plans success will be communicating to the masses. We need to communicate reality not dreams for unfortunately the American public has a very short attention span and most are living day to day. The Pickens Plan as it stands right now is at the 50,000 ft level. We need to develop a more comprehensive detailed national execution plan for the next five years. The first section should incorporate conservation and placing public pressure on elected officials at all levels of government to engage and approve a national plan while in parallel we are designing, constructing and installing the new alternative energy infrastructure systems. Once we have the grass roots base involved at this level, we can then continue to communicate the next steps of the plan to them to help bring us to the Energy Independence we are looking to accomplish
Merry Christmas Bob,
This year I have helped so many members learn about personal home energy plans. It's all about power use, conservation, and home power generation, things I have been doing at my residence to lower my energy costs. Send me a friend request a to add me Bob, I'd be honored to have you as a friend here.
BTW, oklahoma: I just posted an article about Home Wind Systems in oklahoma. Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "soft policy" on Net Metering. Instead they have the tables turned against green power for businesses and homeowners. You should read that article, important.
Chris joined Pickens Plan over the weekend, and already has 150 signed pledges from standing in line at the polls for early voting! He is going back again today. Another Pickens Hero.

Greetings Bob,
Our cost effective, new roof mounting residential wind turbine kits shipping now. The kits are attractive, sleek, well designed to install as a home appliance on the roof, much like an antennae or satellite dish. They are as easy to install as other home appliances, like dishwasher, etc. You can now begin a personal energy plan. These systems are inexpensive, easy to install, scaleable.
Your Wind blows stronger in the winter, Your Sun shines stronger in the summer months. This hybrid wind/solar system combines these cycles to give a more even flow of energy year round. This homeowner sized wind/solar system provides free power for your home. Many customers have found it easy to become customer/dealers of our kits. Customers can become a dealer with no further investment, they see quickly how people are easy to get interested.
I have used the same systems save money on my electricity costs and Bob, you can too. Your local wind resources are so good in Oklahoma. Please see these windmaps at the link below and pinpoint what number your area is in. Zone 2 is OK, anything over 2 is (very) good. First double check your wind resources from the map and links below.
Please congratulate Dianna Brown, she has joined the 100CLUB today- for those that fax/send in more that 100 signed pledges! In addition to her pledge push success, she drives the Welcome Wagon often, providing a steady and passionate hand in sharing our goals to new members.
She is a Picken's Hero!
Best to you,

Hope you can push pledges - for Senators, Representatives and Governors, as well as all American Citizens! We need you - ARE YOU IN?
Thanks all for your comments....if you think about it, the $700B that Congress is worrying about is exactly what we've been sending overseas for energy each year. Finally this might explain how much exactly $700B is. Hopefuly this will help the cause. As you can imagine the congress is busy today. When this settles down, lets talk more Greg.
I saw your post and I believe you probably know most of the delegation in Oklahoma, so I am very glad to have this opportunity to speak with you one on one. My name is Gregory L.Smith.
I am very interested in starting the State's first Solar Energy business that is exclusively interested in developing products for Oklahoma and Texas and by Oklahomans. It is the greatest of disappointments that Governor Henry has waited so long to become a fan of the Alternative Energy process, but I am glad he came in and signed up this past week.
Now, incentives and education towards development are the next phases that the legislature needs to focus on in Oklahoma.
There are specific areas in Warr Acres, Northwest OKC, Edmond, and Bethany, that could utilize solar energy significantly, to reduce their total costs for electricity, and also to feed in to the grid during peak usage times. There is frankly enough roof space in Oklahoma City to run Edmond as the surplus they would not need themselves. That is how significant the Solar Energy process could be very soon. It needs some leadership and it needs some savvy people that can explain to common businessmen how they can be economically free of electricity costs in only 8 years or less. Some could attain it in 4 years with the incentives the Federal and State governments are proposing. Then, their energy production is going to reduce fuel costs, CO2 emissions, and they would have thousands they could spend on merchandise or updating other processes such as new equipment and at the same time, reducing the load problems for the NW side of the OKC grid network during peak usage.
NW Oklahoma City also needs a research facility to encourage development dollars into our state and throughout the state as a whole. I propose that the old ATT building on Reno be converted into a National certification, development and research center for Oklahomans. It is a very large facility without a purpose, and research in Hydrogen, Natural Gas, Solar, Wind and Bio-Fuel/Bio-Mass processes could all be studied here and local students from Francis Tuttle's new technology school could be the "Feed Stock" of employees, right next door, into future educational and industry defining programs building Oklahoma into an energy state beyond just Natural Gas and Oil.
The Abbreviation would be OFFER SUN , for the Oklahoma Foundation For Energy Research and Solar Utility iNnovation. I have space for a web-site and I am very well versed in Solar, Wind, and Bio-fuel processes, but I need development help.
I also do a lot of writing on solar and technology systems related to all new processes, especially those that deal with transportation and with electricity production. OG&E is making us pay them for their profit from capitalizing a gas burning plant, but where do we get such a deal? Hopefully, we will get it in the form of feed in tariffs that help pay back prudent investment by individual homeowners into solar and wind producing electricity.
We need this now, but your ideas are solicited and petitioned. Can you help me achieve my goals for Oklahoma, and for myself as a potential administrator and business owner? Thanks! Gregory L. Smith gregors@att.net Green-Jobs-Now.com
No, as far as the incentives. As far as the congressmen, and senators they are all aware of the Pickens plan. In fact, several of them were quoting info from the plan. Today our governor signed the plan. The energy bill passed by the congress last week was an unacceptable plan. Unfortunately they are busy with the financial problems, and may not get anything else done

Hi Bob,
I have been working in Chicago, and am coming home this week. I want to get started with some grassroots initiatives related to wind farms. Do you have a pulse on what legislators are willing to do in the way of incentives for wind energy?
I will be driving on Tuesday, email me offline mary@inetmax.net
and i will send you my phone number. I just hate to put it online.

The only way to insure the success of this historical effort is to build our numbers to monumental and unignorable heights. CAN YOU HELP?
Would you please congratulate our newest 100CLUB member, Chris Jones-
