Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?

Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

I use ethanol and biodiesel blends in my machinery. I also am determined to build my own small scale distillery, a methane plant, a small scale wind turbine. I am also interested in solar and biomass energy for my needs.

What excites you about this campaign?

I agree with Mr. Pickens. I believe there is a genuine need for weaning ourselves from imported oil. I also believe the time is right for a grass-roots movement to make it happen. I firmly believe it is up to ordinary citizens to do things to help ourselves retain a standard of living comparable to our own for future generations without completely depleting the worlds resources, and polluting the world to the point that nothing can survive. Furthermore, I hope I can bring even more ideas to the forefront and get enough people excited about alternative energy to make a difference. It is not only about energy, and energy security, it is about jobs, job security, economic growth, economic security, and cleaning up the environment.

What do you want to do to help?

I want to make people aware that there are solutions, things can change. Ordinary people can make a difference. We have to try, if we wait for politicians, or industry to act, it may be too late.
