Hope you had a nice holiday. I would love to hear how it is going with the petitions.
Time is of the essence. Our new Congress will be sworn in, less than 2 weeks form now. Only the threat of political suicide will keep them focused on the job of getting us independent from foreign oil! The only way to accomplish this is with sheer numbers - THERE IS NO INFLUENCE WITHOUT NUMBERS.

How about lookin up Dr. Paul A. Curto- Ron Rhoades, Have you entered groups for thinkers, inventors---investors? Yes there is going to be a major need and there are many trying to figure out the balance.
We have a uphill battle, but we the people can get this done.
I have been zeroing in on building this effort so it can never be ignores. Will you help your district with a few petitions. They need your help. Each district is trying to generate 500 new supporters.
There are so many companies out there that I have greeted here, in solar, hydor, geo thermal. wind, CNG, wave, they will all have success if the new administration supports and fosters their efforts. It is a paradigm of thought on energy in this country that we need to change forever. WE are close, but we need to have more numbers.
NO INLUENCE WITHOUT NUMBERS!

Agree with you 100%. If Congress can incentivize renewables for long terms, there wil be hundreds of Boone's in his wake. The govt. can help with transmission lines and tax credits, then needs to get out of the way ..... the real bull work will be done by the private sector. My husband is in private equity and sees many proposals - they are out there.

Contact and "Friend" the New Energy Army Regional Leader for your state; you can find them to the right, in the Featured Members section. Let him/her know that I sent you there and you are interested in becoming an organizer.
PICKENS U We are recruiting "Campus Coordinators" for colleges and universities to represent the Pickens Plan on campus. We are looking for someone who can create a college page on the Pickens Plan site and also on Facebook encouraging folks to sign up for the Pickens Plan.
If you are connected to a college or university in your state, can be a campus coordinator, or can help find a campus coordinator, please let me know so we can get the process rolling.

Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement. Look up your local leader from map on home pg.
Please, I ask the first sites you visit to get accurate info and articles to see pretty much what the plan is about and where the plan stands. Some are long, please; take the time to get all the details.

Well as they say (the large lady voiced the end). Neither candidate openly gave his support outright for our plan. Both knew about it and to a degree felt the intense support behind it. It goes back to another old saying, on the political platform be careful how far you put your foot in the door.
There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, Please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
Again Welcome; Tom- Welcome wagon crew- After you have read the sites I mentioned, if you need anything else please stop by.

WE must get this done before Inauguration Day and give Obama the support he needs to accomplish this lofty goal, AND INSURE that Congress can not derail him. Special interests and lobbyists will surely try - we must be louder and stronger. Thomas Friedman has said, only a huge grass roots movement will cause the revolution in change that we seek!
