- I spent a summer in Washington DC with Preston Gates Ellis and Rouvelas Meeds (Now K&L Gates) covering alternative energy and creating briefs and press clippings for clients and the firm's partners.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- Private individuals and industry can always move faster than government and can muster the will to make difficult decisions in times of crisis. America is in a time of crises now and we need strong leaders and visionaries like Mr. Pickens to set the bar higher because America can reach it.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I would like to lead the organization and grassroots movement in Pullman, Washington where Washington State University is located.

I am a fellow Washington state citizen. I am trying to organize town-hall style meetings with Senators Murray and Cantwell as well as Representative Inslee to discuss energy policy. While they are in the state on recess, I think we should try and get there attention and let them know where we stand.
If you are interested in joining me in this effort, please contact me and I will add your name to my list so when, and I hope it is when, we arraign a meeting we will make sure you have the time and location first.

PS, Please forgive me if I hit you twice with this message. I am sending it to all the Washington groups then scouring through the members list in hopes of getting everyone in WA.
PLEASE email the Pickens Plan video to everyone you know. www.pickensplan.com. Ask them to join. Ask them to pass it along. Time is of the essence. If every member had 10 friends join today, we could put the number of members over 1 million very quickly!
If we can not get critical numbers how can we take advantage of this golden opportunity? High gas prices have "woken up" America to our plight and a paradigm shift like not other is in the wind. We need to do this now.
So many new members write "I want to help, what can I do?" This is a start. We may not get to the next step if we can not get this one done.
Our leaders can not ignore millions of members of the Pickens Plan. We are not there yet. One person can make a difference.
