Profile Information

Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
Lived in Vermont for 5 years and was introduced to windpower via several neighbors who purchased individual wind turbines.
What excites you about this campaign?
It is the right thing to do, not to mention being an economic major myself it is the most cost efficient long term plan I have seen. With McCain pushing for more offshore drilling that will take 7 years, I would rather holdout 10 years and have the windpower. We have hit peak oil production, we can keep drilling but it will get more expensive.
What do you want to do to help?
Currently, I aid in the formation of tax advantaged vehicles for affluent business owners and want to contribute something more meaningful to society, so that my two sons have a better standard of living than myself. If we keep going down the oil road, I fear my sons will be the first generation to see a worse standard of living.

Yeah, I hope the politicians realize how critical the situation really is and do not let themselves be swayed by corporate agendas. I hold out hope. Thanks for commenting. =0)
