- I have been in the resurch and understanding stages of hydrogen conversion cell for my cars. I am well read on the whole subject of energy development. Also from a business stand point I understand the importance of cost to the consumer.

- Though I do not think Mr Pickens plan is far reaching enough, it does take me back to an old saying, do something and you stand a 50-50 chance of being right, do nothing and you stand a 100% chance of being wrong

- I would like to offer oppinions to all that need to hear, including congress. There is going to have to be local pressure along with State and Federal levels. Example; How much wind power generation could be created with a wind turbine on top of every high rise condo on the beach in Gulf shores and Orange Beach, this would be a local issue. Localy they may not want to do this, but if posible it must be done. We can not take the aproach Of Marthas Vinyard and say not in my backyard. Thinking I am in Eufaula, I own a condo in Gulf Shores.

Ask your Congress person on the new energy bill that gives billions of dollars of your and my tax monet for exploration ane construction of new refinerys. Have you seen any lately? Do you know of any being built. Our tax money making the oil executives rich and our congress persons a rich friend. I would like to run for President to encourage the production of alternative fuels and give big rebates and reward companies and consumers for helping save this country. Only buy fuel that is pumped and refined in the US. The guys over seas already have enough of our money.
Thank you for contacting me about the Windspire. The cost of the unit is $4,995.00 FOB Reno. Installation runs approx. $500.00. It is considered an "appliance" and connects directly to your home, business, or any other type of building. At this time there is not a battery storage system, however that is being developed with some very interesting concepts. In some states there is a 20% tax credit available on Solar and Wind installations. Right now there is a 30% Federal tax credit on Solar and Wind Alternative installations. This is very important because it will expire on July 31st if Congress continues to bicker over it. This is hard to imagine they may go on vacation and not extend this tax credit and let it expire. Nancy Pelosi, The Speaker of the House, can bring this issue to a vote. She has been stalling on this issue. Her phone number is: 202-225-0100. The more people who call her and let her know we want this tax credit the better. Without it, the Solar and Wind Industry will take a major hit. In some cities and local areas there is also another 10% tax credit, so combined this makes solar and wind energy very affordable.
