Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I am employed by the railroad which uses diesel-electric energy to power the locomotives. I know that these machines, even those that are over 30 years old, are 60% more efficient than any civilian diesel powered transportation. Why can't the smaller modes of transportation be just as efficient? Biodiesel doesn't even come close to producing the same power or efficiency as these locomotives that weigh 140,000 pounds.
What excites you about this campaign?
A famous quote sums it up for me, "In order to get what you have never gotten, you must do what you have never done." Republicrats haven't had the answers for how many decades and yet again people are wanting to vote for another non-businessman. How can this country ever decrease its dependence on international energy if we continue with the same choices we have always made? We can't. Simply put, Pickensplan is the alternative in more ways than one and this country is a business and needs to run like a business. Can't run it that way if the individual in office wasn't coddled in a business industry. Being of a political background only says one has been properly trained on how to speak and undermine doing the right thing. Neither does being a veteran qualify a person to be president, my uncle is a vet, I am a vet, no one would want me as president.
What do you want to do to help?
I have been telling everyone that I encounter when politics comes up that I am not voting for the lessor of two evils. I am going with the third guy. I don't like big government, I am truely a libertarian at heart and the Pickensplan is the most viable choice for me and my family. People are going to do what they do. If I tell my friends and then they tell theirs regardless of their party affiliation, I believe that this is the right time for someone of this nature to become president and redirect this country and do what we have never done as a country and take our domestic finger out of foreign energy.

Welcome aboard C!
Alternative fuel for Rail is something I've been interested in for years. Not much information out there. In SD, you're in the Wind Corridor states. In Arizona here we're more concerned with solar power generation.
Feel free to join the most dynamic Alternative Energy Group: Solar!(Click here)
Reaching accross this great country from sunrise to sunset, add your collective experience, drive & determination to support this vital global resource, and maintain the American technological lead.
We want to keep creating ways to tap this vital resource, not just for the future, but for tomorrow.
Something like leave the petroleum to those things that have not other option, like jet fuel. I am sure we will come up with an alternative to that as well but, no red-eye flights on a solar plane for me.
