What a trip - I've been trying to formulate an email back to you & Phyllis & then you show up here. Much has changed in my life since Joel died - I'll continue this... from personal email. But I'll attach a message that says what I've been doing on this site - I'll call you guys @ top of next week - I have to travel on the week-end. I've truly missed being out of touch - Love to all.

We’re very happy you’ve joined us. The PickensPlan represents the nonpartisan voice of America’s citizens concerned with moving our nation to energy independence. Our numbers are growing! Our voice is important!
You can get started by going to the MAIN page. Once there, choose THE PLEDGE. Also peruse the page, there several good tools there. Choose the RED BOX titled “CONTACT CONGRESS”. With little effort, we can send letters to our Senators, Representatives and Governors. Fill in the form & you’re done! This is urgent; the Energy Bill before Congress is in danger of not passing! It will eliminate renewable tax credits, a crucial element for sector expansion.
There is a tremendous amount of information here. Many groups; choose by genre/state or create your own. Post comments. Participate in discussions. Ask questions. All opinions/information are welcome. Check out EVENTS there may be an activity in your area, or set one up yourself. Most importantly, share PickensPlan.com with others. Bring as many as you can – we need everyone!
Members of my group, Actors, Directors & Production Artists for TBP Plan, have made it our mission to create video vignettes for use as personal email attachments to assist us in recruiting others. If you find them valuable tools, please utilize them.

We now have a Pledge link on the Main Page, at the top. Click Pledge and you will see a link that will automatically send a letter to your federal and state representatives plus a letter to the Governor of your state!

Please read and sign and fax to the number listed at the bottom of the Pledge page. If you could download the pledge and distribute and persuade others to sign, that would be a great help. The Community feels this is the best way to get the attention of state and federal lawmakers.

The Videos link at the top of your Profile Page has videos that are a good source of information from people who are in the field working with alternative energy. The technical videos and amateur videos are varied, so paging back to page one might be the best way to browse. Or, if you would like, simply type key words in the search box.
