- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- My brother is involved with a major gasification project underway in Louisianna. When gasoline prices hit $4 per gallon I had plans to start a business that converted small fleets (tradesman's vans and taxi service fleets) to propane fuel. I established all the necessary contacts and generated a lot of interest, just as the price dropped ... and nullified my plans for the time being.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- Fuel consumers have little choice at this time. The infrastructure is not in place in most markets for more than one fuel alternative. I believe that when given choices, the fuel market will become more specialized and some industries will depend on diesel, others on oil, propane, cng...etc. I believe that we MUST create the infrastructure for auto transportation to switch to natural gas... that can be produced domestically, even if there is zero cost savings to the consumer. We MUST do it to save our economy and balance trade.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I am a communicator and promoter by nature. I am 46 and have no wife or children making demands on my time... so I have the time to devote to causes, such as this.
