Big Cat Rescue's mission is to save big cats in the wild and to end the use and abuse of the big cats in captivity. Habitat is crucial and we want to be a part of the solution.

What excites you about this campaign?

I am most excited that a man of T. Boone Pickens' ability is behind it as it takes that sort of charismatic leadership to succeed.

What do you want to do to help?

We only have about 26,000 visitors per year, but get 3.5 million visitors to our web site. We would love to retrofit our 45 acre sanctuary to clean energy as a prototype for others to follow. As a non profit, 501 c 3 that survives from donations to support our 135 big cats, we cannot afford the up front costs, but we could make a huge impact if someone wanted to make an example of us.
