- I'm an Ambassador in the Valley Electric Association Ambassador program. I have lived in rural areas and researched solar power for many years. I have a son that is building a home in the foothills of Northern California and will be installing many alternative energy options.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- It is a grassroots movement. I consider myself a 'Community Activist'.
- What do you want to do to help?
- Spread the word within the Pahrump Valley Democratic Party Meetup and the League of Women Voters of Pahrump.

Welcome on board! There are certainly green opportunities in Nevada, from geothermal to solar and wind. Past enthusiasm in Nevada has always been challenged by the coal-based powered utilities in the state, as for the low off-set rates for alternative energy sources. The economics are tough, but a populous movement for tapping this state's rich resources of sun, wind and geothermal could overcome this with a plan for exporting those energies to other states.

Time is of the essence. In less than 2 weeks, the new Congress will be sworn in. Only the threat of political suicide will keep Congress focused on the job of getting us to independance from foreign oil! The only way to do this is with sheer numbers!

I am asking everyone to please take petitions to school or work or wherever they are going today! I was able to gather 75 signatures Thursday and Friday while Christmas shopping and running errands. It is so easy - everyone wants to get off of foreign oil, we just need to gather their names. WE CAN DO THIS, with everyones help.
