- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- I have been a practicing "green girl" for 2 years now...truly reduce, reuse, recycle. I constantly read any information regarding wind and solar power and network with Green Energy businesses in Ireland and other parts of Europe.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- I truly believe that we, as a country, should detach our dependence on foreign oil and as I drive through North Texas and up into New Mexico, It absolutely takes my breathe away to see how far we have come but yet the distance we have to battle, but knowing we can get there. If we do not take strong efforts now then we will soon be at a point of no return as to the damage being done to the environment. Wind power is a huge deterant to that damage.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I want to do anything I can to help people understand the true meaning of what bringing wing power to Texas and across the country really means to us and the independence/freedom it gives to us as a people and show the that there is a "greater good" to living green.

I've just started getting involved in a non-profit website (http://www.windturbines.net/) solely focused on wind turbines and how they can help. We've a social network for wind turbine enthusiasts and a directory where businesses connected in wind energy can post their business info and site.
