Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:: I strated researching alternative energy in the beginning of fall 2008 for an economics class and it was actually the pickens plan commercial that had gotten me interested in it and I became very interested in finding ways to reduce emmissions and our dependance on foreign oil. Anyways, I wrote a paper based on the ideas from Pickens' Plan and have since continued to be interested in renewable forms of energy. I think I have somewhat of an understanding of alternative energy, but I would like to learn so much more.

What excites you about this campaign?: The fact that we would be using wind and solar power which reduces the amount of pollutants we are emitting that are contributing to global warming. The change the world needs to take is a big one. The Pickens Plan campaign actually offers a transitional solution, one that is actually feasible in terms of helping Americans wean themselves off of their addiction to foreign oil.

What do you want to do to help?: I would like to volunteer. I don't have a whole lot of time right now, but I would still like do be involved.
