All - One of the district leaders had an idea for a nationwide earth day rally/sign-up/etc.. What are your thoughts on this. Earth day is April 22nd, so I feel there may not be enough time to organize something - but I love the idea!

NJDL has offered two hours free use of its tele-conference call line to the first DL who steps up with a delegation of DL's from their State. Why don't you get the contact info for a group of nearby DL's in your State...12-15 of the closest ones geograhically and I'll set up the call for you at a time of your choosing. It's a great way to combine thoughts and energy. You can discuss strategies for the VM, recruiting, an eventual site meeting, etc.

- Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?

- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- I do not have a lot of experience with alternative energy in a work experience aspect - but for the two years, I have changed my way of doing things in order to change how I use oil and other carbon related items (decrease trips to the store, energy efficient appliances, changing type of light bulbs used, switching to mostly organic foods). It feels good - just doing the smalls things that I am capable of altering to improve the earth and the future for my son and others.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- The ability to be apart of a movement that will spread the word and educate others of the importance and need for finding and improving alternative energy. The keyword is to have reuseable energy like wind and solar that we be less harmful to the planet and those of us on it as well as a never ending source supply.
- What do you want to do to help?
- Alter my personal use of oil related products, educate others by showing them that they too can do even small things to help improve our planet, be a voice to decrease and eliminate our dependence on foreign oil, and help increase the amount of people in my area that know, understand and join the Pickens Plan Army (PPA).
