Charles,

Welcome to our group. We're very glad to have you on board. If you look at the VT-01 page you'll see we're busy contacting our elected officials to "sign" them on to the Pickens Plan.

Please feel free to join in. As you can see we've already had a meeting with Congressman Welch's staff and meetings with Senator Leahy and Sanders offices are set for this Thursday.

Again, welcome aboard and I look forward to meeting you.

Regards,
Jim Spencer

Hi Charles,

Thanks for joining both the Pickens Plan and the Vermont leaders Group.
All we really need from you is to learn all you can about the Pickens Plan and get excited about turning this mess around!

Once you are excited the rest falls into place. We need more people to know about Pickens Plan and have their support either by signing up online or by filling out a pledge form we can fax in. The information is all here on the Pickens Plan site, that's how I learned about it. But if you have questions Please contact me.

The Vermont Leaders group is also trying to provide more information to make learning how to help easier. My goals are to also team up with other existing renewable energy organizations to set up and push through more affordable energy options for home owners right up through statewide projects.

There are great possibilities here! All we have to do is see them and act on them.

Thanks for your support,
Scott

Hi Charles,

Thanks for requesting an invitation to our little group. Don't think that you can't contribute much, because let me tell ya, anything anyone can do is more than not doing anything at all. Does that make sense? We have a bumper sticker for sale for just $2.25 that, if put on your car or even set in your rear window, would spread the word! Accept the invitation that I sent to you, and you're in, just like that! Look at the blog by Scott Reynolds entitled, "How to Push the Pickens Plan" or something along those lines, scroll down, and you'll see how to order a bumper sticker! Piece of cake! Soon, we will be able to figure out what type of meeting or project would make sense for our group. Please feel free to get in on the conversation.

See you in the group!

Pam

Hi Charles,
My name is Pam Donnelly, and I live in Springfield. I am interested in getting all of the Vermonters from this site (which there are only a handful) together either in person or virtually to organize something. I have zero experience in organizing, but I feel that we need to step up and try and create awareness of Boone's idea. What do you think?
