Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
Around my home town just started building "wind farms". i live in Southern Cali and feel the heat at the pump.
What excites you about this campaign?
Moving forward and providing an alternative energy source BEFORE we run out... planning ahead! Many older generation individuals are heistant to let a wind farm go near their property.... We need to educate the community to move this forward to make this a better place for myself as I get older and future generations!
What do you want to do to help?
Personally I want to work for Mr. Pickens. I have read about his as an oil pioneer and am excited to see how he wants to reinvent the US.

I wrote my congressman about the Natural Gas act which is something I wouldn’t normally do because he gets solicited constantly and I think it’s important not to ask for favors unless it is really important. I think the Natural Gas act is that important. I have spoke to him several times and this is the first time I asked for anything.

The only way to insure the success of this historical effort is to build our numbers to monumental and unignorable heights. CAN YOU HELP?

Would you please congratulate our newest 100CLUB member, Chris Jones-

Chris joined Pickens Plan over the weekend, and already has 150 signed pledges from standing in line at the polls for early voting! He is going back again today. Another Pickens Hero.

Hi Charlie

Please CONGRATULATE Rhonda Brown for being invited into the 100CLUB! She is amazing. She has over 136 signatures, and going back for more. Her daughter will also have 100 before the election, too! How lucky we are to have Rhonda on our team.

Thanks
Kim

Hi Charlie

I have found that petitons are the best way to spread the word AND sign up supporters.

Here is HOW TO TURN THE PLEDGE INTO A PETITION!

I find it easiest to take one pledge, cut off Boone's lines under the pledge and add a sheet of lined paper under the pledge instead. I put NAME - ADDRESS - EMAIL across the top and fill in the first line to set the format. Most are more willing to sign where others have already done so, rather than the single pledge at a time approach. Everyone understands a petition.
I ask if they would "sign this petition in support of T, Boone Pickens energy plan to get us off of foreign oil?" Hand them the clipboard so they can read it. I do not require the signers to give me their email if they are reticent - don't let that be a deal breaker - some just do not want to give it.

Check out the 100CLUB group page to see how others have accomplished the task. (it is the first goup on my page) When you send/fax in 100, let me know, we will gladlyinvite you to be a member of the 100CLUB. Your leadership on this will inspire thousands!

There are over 150 people in the pledge challenge that I know of right now. Surely, there are many more that I am unaware of, as it is in many greetings. Those 150 willl bring 15,000 new members. If each brings just 5 friends, these 150 will be responsible for 75,000 new members.

This is the approach that works best for me - I tried many. Hopefully, this will encourage you to take the challenge, too. CAN YOU HELP?

When will we ever have a golden opportunity like this again?

BEST
Kim

Charlie your formally invited!

small business home business

Do you like contacting your public officals? Do you like making making a difference?

If both questions have a "Yes" for an answer then your our perfect member!

The action committee is very simmilar to www.action.pickensplan.com however our job is to do that in a much larger scale! An action committee member will have responsibilities that include: scheduling a conference with their senators/congressman, talking to major companies on switching to natural gas vehicles, and even talking to families about becoming 'green' and signing the petition.

If everything above sounds appealing to you, why wait? Join the Action Committee now!

I would agree with you Charlie, the average american needs to be heard and understood and more needs to be focused on their needs and not needs of the big fat cats. After all the economy needs to have us little people as you put it in a strong position. You have to remember that when 95% of your purchasing is done by the little guy but only 5% has the money you will eventually run into difficulty with sustaining the economy when that 95% is drained dry. That is what happened and that is why the economy is nose diving. High fuel prices due to speculative greed of a few stripped the buying power away from the rest of us and now the big fat cats are feeling the pinch. Pinch them a little more they deserve it, its not fun suffering through it but I have to smile just the same. Trouble is the government was stupid eneough to give them $700 Billion more to play with.

That would have been better spent on renewable energy infrastructure and would have stimulated the economy so much more because it would have created jobs, and a way to start getting away from imported oil which would have help more in the long run. Tisk Tisk Tisk, what a shame those idiots in Washington do not open their eyes for just a little bit instead of walking around all day with their blinders on that were put there by the special interest groups.

Morning Charlie!

Please congratulate Dianna Brown, she is joining the 100CLUB today- for those that fax/send in more that 100 signed pledges! In addition to her pledge push success, she drives the Welcome Wagon often, providing a steady and passionate hand in sharing our goals to new members.
She is a Picken's Hero!

Best to you,
Kim

There are motivational and educational thoughts on how our members accomplished this goal on the group page - http://push.pickensplan.com/group/100pledgeclub

Hope you can push pledges, for our Senators, Representatives and Governors, as well as all American Citizens! ARE YOU IN?

Hey Charlie,

Where at in S Cali? and what is the water situation there? Have to ask because I have not been there in a while where I used to travel to Cali often.

I to would like to know how T. Boone plans to go beyond CNG and move away from fossil fuels in large scale but I would agree CNG is better than foreign oil and cleaner than gasoline and diesel. Though cleaner it still leaves a positive carbon foot print.
