- Very little. Solar is way to expensive, but I want to go green, We need to switch to hydrogen, wind, solar, natural gas, battery etc.

Welcome to Pickens Plan and thanks for joining.
I live in Knoxville, and when I signed up to PickensPlan, I looked for groups in Tennessee. There were groups centered in Nashville and Memphis, but not Knoxville, and the activity and leadership in our state in general was not quite up to speed at the time. I began the group East Tennessee for Sustainable Infrastructure and I would appreciate any input. You can find it here
I can also answer any questions about the plan or navigation of the website.
Please invite friends to the plan, as we need all the help we can get for Congress to take us seriously. We wish to be millions strong by January. There is a now a red button to contact congress and a pledge on this page or at the Action Center

Did you know that you can send a letter to congress from the MAIN PAGE on this site? It’s easy - at the top of the MAIN PAGE (scroll up to the blue sky and see white letters) is a link entitled THE PLEDGE. This will take you to a new page and there you will find a Red button that reads – CONTACT CONGRESS. Follow the steps and have your voice heard.
Be sure to check out my friends, as they are so smart, creative, educated, talented, hardworking, wholesome, friendly, helpful and very passionate.

I say if the new President is not up to the task of clean energy and make it a reality we call for his Impeachment. Time to alter our government. Same with any and all elected officials.
The government is supposed to be by the people for the people. All I see is big business making our elected officials rich, while I barely live pay check to pay check.
I have an idea for a New Admindment. Basically have to have a plan in place to fight polution and make sure we have green energy in place. 80% of our energy should be domestic. Once it is law it can be enforced. The president by law has to give a state of the union address. Make it law he has to prove he has an energy plan, and it has to be maintained by every president by law or out they go!
Maybe if every person in America with a computer gets on You Tube and says Make this a reality or else, and we all used this site and others to inundate our elected officials with our demands for Clean energy something might get done. Just my 2 cents.
EMAIL A LETTER TO YOUR REPRESENTATIVES BY USING OUR EASY RED "CONTACT CONGRESS" BUTTONThis is urgent, because the Energy Bill in Congress is in danger of not passing! With little effort, we have the ability here for you to send a letter to our Representatives in Washington and Governor, too. Go to THE PLEDGE (at the very top of this page on the blue header) On the top of the pledge page there are three rectangular buttons- two blue ones and ONE RED BUTTON, that reads "CONTACT CONGRESS". Fill in the short, standard form. Done!
You can also help by BRINGING 5 FOLKS TO JOIN the site today, so that we can build a voice big enough that Congress will finally have to listen to us, instead of the lobbyists and special interests, who are trying to derail this historic effort.
YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE PLEDGE on the main page. Print out 10 or more of them, get them signed and fax them back ASAP. When we are millions strong, we can achieve this.
THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
...to wait and see...or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS
We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs, get them to cover this. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan.
A GROUP FOR EVERYONE
Check out the many groups for Solar, CNG, your area, etc. Connect, learn and share. We grow stronger with your input. If you don't see a group that speaks to your interest, then start a group of your own.

The Gasoline engine needs to be replaced in the next 10-20 years with Hydrogen, natural gas etc.
Gas here in TN after "Ike". went up at some stations to just under $5.00 a gallon. Fix the problem or you are fired.
