Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

I think alternative energy is critical to the future of our world. I don't think it should be all so political. It is up to us as American's to come up with what is necessary. Thank you to Mr. Pickens for being financially strong enough to do an entire TV campaign and fabulous website/blog so that we can be educated on fuel, alternative energy and what we need to do--or what we can do to help.
We can't leave everything to the government when the parties are so divided and the agendas are so opposing. We are united in one great respect---we are paying too much for oil and we have become 100% dependent on foreign oil and alternatives need to be created.

What excites you about this campaign?

If it can be cleansed of politics then I'm excited to unite with others about something that can keep our money/our economy more local and less global. Though I realize politics will always play a huge role in oil--I want to clarify that I wouldn't do something to help a candidate on the alternative energy issues. There's only one of them and their respective party making decisions---there are millions of us. We need to stop blaming and start acting.

What do you want to do to help?

Not quite sure yet. Something along the lines of educating others about alternative energy; starting with myself and my family both immediate and extended. I want to know learn as much as I can so I can be involved. There are ways even within real estate development that I can use alternative energy.

Respond to political comments without using politics. Refuse to respond in kind to the anger. Keep it policy oriented and not personal.
