Some minor experience with micro-wind(<1kw) and thermal mass capture.

20 yrs experience in nuclear and natural gas powerplant operations, electrical distribution and relaying.

What excites you about this campaign?

While I believe it has some minor flaws and is missing a lot of details, it seems to be a feasable plan to reduce dependency on foreign oil sources and increase our our electrical efficiency, while freeing up energy to either reduce commercial/residential prices or invest the newly liberated energy into new programs which better the economic and social standards.

What do you want to do to help?

There's so much that needs to be done! Not nearly enough room to type them all!

I personally like the concept of distributed and semi-distributed wind and solar power generation

Over my many years of working in the electrical industry, I've always wondered:

Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "soft policy" on Net Metering. If the perspective can be changed from annoyance to appeciation and reward we might see some changes. It's the immediate individual household reward that's critical.
