Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
Playing alternative energy stocks: solar, natural gas powered engine manufacturers, biofuels, fuel cells. I read everything that I can get my hands on and am greatly interested in learning more!
What excites you about this campaign?
Alternative energy sources that will bring us freedom (OK, so less dependency) from OPEC!
What do you want to do to help?
I would like to organize a local group in the Metro St. Louis Area

Interesting how the PIckens Plan is catching the eye of Wall Street...I receive daily newsletters fron Seeking Alpha, an online investors' web-zine. Today I found another viewpoint to Mr. Picken's plan for natural gas vehicles. If you care to read the article, here is the link:

I have been researching this
for a few weeks now and think that wind energy may be an excellent chance at making some money, even on a
small scale....
I also came across wind maps from the Missouri DOE and found that the SW part of Missouri is our best bet for wind power, but for some reason,
NORTH of the Metro St. Louis area, and into Quincy/Hannibal, is another excellent choice for small-scale wind turbines...
Call me crazy, but I am truly interested in both the political and
social aspects of this kind of investment! Not to mention the possible financial rewards!
If this is too crazy of an idea for you, let me know...I just thought
that I would toss this info your way, especially from the Corn Growers
Association. It is a good read, educational, and a possible solution to
our energy crisis (every drop in the bucket helps). The links to MO-DNR
and MO ENERGY are great resources as well...
Download the pdf (4 MB) and get a sense of where we have to start.
Then watch us grow and implement a plan to install grid tied solar pv systems on all rooftops, and most importantly, bring an entire City back to life as Carbon Free as possible.
Enjoyed seeing your comments on the leadership board and want to offer you an invitation to join group discussions on the creation of an investment fund that will jump start the Pickens Plan. Step onto the court and let me know your thoughts.
