- I've been interested in alternative energy as a source of revitalization for a stagnant American economy for years and have done research on the topic because I see it as a great opportunity for developing small business ventures
- What excites you about this campaign?
- I have a motto.. All Politicians do is vote and make rules.. It takes action by individuals to make the change we need, no one is going to do it for us. Decisions we make every day are what guide our fate, its time we make different decisions.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I have experience in organizing concert events, I think that would be a great way to get information out to people who wouldn't normally take the time to seek this information out.

I'm a district co-leader. Could you please join the Delaware Congressional District group? Move your pointer to "Take Action" & select "Join your district group" from the menu that drops down.
You're interested in being an organizer- could you please contact me & tell your contacts about the Plan? Please confirm my friend request & then we can communicate by message or e-mail or other means than our walls on this network (I'll send you mine e-mail address as a message once you confirm me as a friend). Are you willing to get the word out to the public?
At the moment, we need to recruit people and get them to join their Congressional District pages. Later, we'll need to contact our federal (and other?) legislators. There is also a pledge which you could promote to local officials and governing bodies. Multiple people approaching them is more effective than a few, especially if they do so in a coordinated manner or together. Let me know if you'd like links to the pledge & draft resolution.
EMAIL A LETTER TO YOUR REPRESENTATIVES BY USING OUR EASY RED "CONTACT CONGRESS" BUTTON - - With little effort, we have the ability here for you to send a letter to our Representatives in Washington and Governor, too.
Go to THE PLEDGE (at the very top of this page on the blue header) On the top of the pledge page there are three rectangular buttons- two blue ones and ONE RED BUTTON, that reads "CONTACT CONGRESS" . Fill in the short, standard form. Done!
YOU CAN ALSO HELP BY BRINGING 5 FOLKS TO JOIN the site today, so that we can build a voice big enough that Congress will finally have to listen to us, instead of the lobbyists and special interests, who are trying to derail this historic effort.
YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE PLEDGE on the Main page. Print out 10 or more of them, get them signed and fax them back to Boone ASAP. This is how we build our numbers fast! Be a leader, be a part of the "100 CLUB", by faxing in 100 signed pledges. Let me know when you are done and I will see that you are added to the list.

Contact and "Friend" the New Energy Army Regional Leader for your state. You can find them to the right, in the Featured Memberssection. Let him/her know that I sent you there and you are interested in becoming an organizer.
THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
…to wait and see…or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost.
PICKENS U has been formed for college alumni and university students to get involved. If you are or know of a student who would like to become an ambassador to help coordinate the pledge drive, please submit names to Pickens U site (found on the Main page). This would look good on a job resume.
PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not
1) increase our membership nor
2) influence public policy.
If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan.

Check out the many groups for Solar, CNG, your area, etc. Connect, learn and share. We grow stronger with your input. If you don't see a group that speaks to your interest, then start a group of your own.
