Thanks for the post V.H. It really is a big deal. I just wish it were $100B from the Stimulus. However, it should send some signals. Now, I just wish my Evergreen Solar stock would go up.

Profile Information

Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I am an Electronic Engineer who designed solar sites for the State of Michigan. I also have traveled widely to Latin America where they use CNG to power municipal vehicles, e.g. Brazil, Mexico, Columbia.
What excites you about this campaign?
The opportunity to participate in an energy revolution that will make North America energy self-sufficient. To make the air better for all mankind. To figure out a way to capitalize on the opportunities that will become available in the near future.
What do you want to do to help?
I am willing to participate in the plan but not sure I want to take an organizational leadership role at this time.

Tesla, I believe had it right.

He proved it works, really.

Huzzah! We'll split the cost of the pizza & hot wings.

Oh, my, I hope you didn't think I meant PV as the solar solution... I'm talking about CSP, and Rankine cycle gen-sets. So the commonality between your geothermal & my solar-thermal is quite high. In fact there's no reason that a geothermal site couldn't add my parabolic troughs and top-up the base-load from your wells.

Ya know, rather than wait the 60 years, maybe we should get together sooner... you know before they outlaw beer again... ;^) (what were they thinking?!?)

Catch ya on the March on DC...

Hey Chuck,

Top 3 renewable energy sources for the next 60 years...

I gotta say I think solar will take the top spot... because I think it'll be cheaper to install a field of panels than it'll be to dig the mole-holes. ;^)

Whaddya say? In 60 years we get together for a beer -- and whoever is *right* pays... See ya in three score. ;^)

Hi Chuck,
Thank you for your suggestion, and your efforts on behalf of our Indiana district. I am taking action in any way I am able - I am constantly emailing Evan Bayh, and Richard Lugar through the Pickens Plan website. I am also a member of AGreenerIndiana, Greenpeace, and the NRDC. With your leadership, I feel confident that we hoosiers can make our voices heard in DC. I agree with you that alternative energy sources are the only way we will preserve our world, and hopefully the animals that share it with us. Thanks again.

Right now I can't afford a solar system, and I've been trying to find a way to start a solar business. I have the license, but have no capital or real affordable source to make this business happen.
