Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?

Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize

Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

I have no experience with alternative energy. I volunteer to get quality health care to our rural area. I started the Liberty County Health Care Council, Inc. We have come a long way in health care and I would like to do my part in this endeavor. I am a grandmother and don't want to leave my family with these new burdens. My father had a service station when I was a child and I remember 23 cents per gallon gas. This is rediculous.

What excites you about this campaign?

It has potential to actually work. I saw the documentary "What happened to the electric car?" and was furious, we could have prevented this crisis. Living in FL we don't have the wind of the central part of the country, but we do have sunshine.

What do you want to do to help?

I can tell many people about this, including our Congressman Allen Boyd and Senator Bill Nelson who have been very supportive in our efforts for health care in this area. I am a disabled nurse and live on a fixed income and don't have money to contribute, but I can speak out for what I believe in.

We don't have the wind corridor of the central states, but we are the "Sunshine State", and I believe natural gas is here as well. I went to the state area and saw where Governor Crist is talking to Spain about solar energy. From what I gather Spain is investing in this effort with FL. My question is are we exchanging Saudi Arabia for Spain, no offence to Spain. I understand they have been using solar energy for a while there, but shouldn't we have Americans doing this? We have the mechanism to build our numbers, we need to use it. It is the easiest ask- Boone has done the hard work. All we need to do is hitch our wagon to his horse and plow to the finish. I have sent in 240 so far.

It comes down to.... DO WE HAVE THE FORTITUDE? I hope so. We aren't asking folks to take up arms. But this IS OUR REVOLUTION.... and we have a very small window to get it done. I would like your help.

Yes, he may make some money.... it doesn't matter, he's already a multi billionaire. Many wealthy people will make money, because they are in a postition to participate.
It does NOT matter.

Keep your eye on the ball. Reducing he $700b number. Getting Congress to open the transition lines. Making sure our future leader must have a plan to get this done NOW. Only OUR pressure can insure that!

Here's how you can help.

PLEASE email the Pickens Plan video to everyone you know. www.pickensplan.com. Ask them to join. Ask them to pass it along. Time is of the essence. If every member had 10 friends join today, we could put the number of members over 1 million very quickly!

If we can not get critical numbers how can we take advantage of this golden opportunity? High gas prices have "woken up" America to our plight and a paradigm shift like not other is in the wind. We need to do this now.

So many new members write "I want to help, what can I do?" This is a start. We may not get to the next step if we can not get this one done.

Our leaders can not ignore millions of members of the Pickens Plan. We are not there yet. One person can make a difference.
