Hi Clark, I just noticed your comment back on the solar panels and you convinced me, it makes sense to me too. I encourage you to start a disscussion in the group, it's the easiest way to follow up on any subject. As members add comments and when you reply you get email notifications
You're absolutely right Mr. White. Here is one step toward the solution; Dear Mr. Pickens. You need to start a fundraising effort for this plan where small and large investors can safely place their hard earned money. If the plan doesn't go through you just have to give it back with earned interest. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!!
I'm really tired of hearing everyone moan and groan about who is at fault, who we should blame, and how much we hate everyone profiting from this issue. Regardless of nationality, "We" all need to get together and come up with solutions. Truth be told I can care less whose fault it is, and I'm concerned only with how we can solve this problem and ensure our next generations enery needs. I don't care if it is "ugly" as long as it produces. We can pretty it up later. I don't want to read about who is to blame right now. I want to read about how we plan to fix it. Get a tiger team together, bust out some idea's, every week we come together and generate idea's, and when we come up with somthing good, lets all work together on that issue. We should have been a lot further along by now but we are still too busy complaining and blaming.
Hi Fred,
I would want them hung horizontally from the poles as a secondary means of electricity in the same area. With todays technology it should be no problem to ensure a means in which they will be appealing instead of "ugly". We are already using that space for windmills, I just think we should get the most we can from it.
Hi Clark. Thanks for your comment. Sorry to break it to you but it’s kind of a silly question. Why would you want to drape solar panels off a windmill pole? They are not very flexible, you’d have to create some kind of scaffolding system to hold them, it would be so ugly your neighbors would hate you and you wouldn’t get the most out of them unless you manage to hold them horizontally facing the sun. If you can’t put them on land (if you have room for a windmill you must have some land) Why not put them on your roof, they make roof tiles out of them these days. I’m no expert; this is just what I think. Regards, Fred

What excites you about this campaign?
Renewable energy. Decreasing everyones need for oil. I believe we should be able to harness our renewable resources to fullfil all needs eventually and this is a big push to getting it started. When I look at what is happening I think of Henry Ford and his Model T. Look how far things have changed since 1908 in the automobile industry. This campaign can revolutionalize our future energy needs and I wish to be a part of that.
