Yes
What excites you about this campaign?
What excites me about this campaign the most is the willingness of its members and the organized structure.
What do you want to do to help?
Informing and educating people seems to be the need right now from what I see.I have gone to seminars and gathered information from other resources.Bringing that information back to the general public,I`ve found very few people aware of the technology and positive effects of many of the available products.Education seems to be key right now,for myself and for the less informed.Seminars and public speaking, promoting awareness and products is a vital area that I could do to help.

Charging Hybrids With Off-Grid Alternative Energy Systems

The articles I`ve been reading lately about the technology for hybrids is a start. The constant content of the media from the auto-makers makes it sound like were accomplishing milestones.A bit more emphasis on some of the facts would be nice.If we are plugging in our cars into the grid,we are not burning gasoline. Were burning something else, somewhere else. The new Tesla automobile sounds like we are really getting somewhere. That car shows some pretty good stats with a top speed of 125 m.p.h.,exce… Continue

Photovoltaic Solar Energy, the Pros and Cons

Clifford Ingram blueskysolarwind.com
Posted in "Home Solar Power", Solar Panels
Pros
The most obvious advantage to solar energy is no operational carbon emissions. Other advantages include reduced dependence or even complete independence from fluctuating energy markets and efficient power generation in areas that do not have access to a power grid. In areas that do not have access to the power grid, it is frequently cheaper to buy a photovoltaic system than it is to pay to extend the grid, or to… Continue

Warren Buffet`s and Charles Munger`s remarks on the future. Economics to Alternative Energy.

This information I obtained from the online publication of The Wall Street Journal about Warren Buffet`s and Charles Mungers view on the future.
Buffet talked about how the dismal out-look he had on the newspaper business, obviously the other avenues to gain information he spoke about was the computer. That paper and ink will now go into my printer,it seems.
Buffet then spoke about the rise in the expense of insurance, the slow rise in the housing market, and spoke about the mistakes made in the Tre… Continue

Hybrid vs. Battery vs. Hydrogen Powered Automobiles,Guess Which Is Best. blueskysolarwind.com Car

Hi everybody,
This Cliff Ingram, I just read an article on a test conducted that put the hybrids, battery power, and hydrogen powered cars against each other to see which one was the cleanest and greenest. They`re(anybody) concluded that hydrogen seemed to be the winner.Hybrid: grid and gas. Battery: grid Hydrogen: obvious.
I must be missing something here. Wind and Solar is green.period.My website blueskysolarwind.com sells micro wind turbines, solar equipment, and other various alternative energy p… Continue

Hallo Cliff,
thanks for Your message. If You send me Your e-mail adress, i would be
happy to send You more details about our windconverters. Due to the profile of the rotor blades, the converter runs complete noiseless.

Hi Cliff,
Thanks for commenting on my page. There several websites for renewable energy jobs including wind farm projects. I will not promote any particular site. Im sure if you type in your favorite search engine "wind energy jobs" you will likely find the top sites with these jobs posted. most will require you to sign up or post a resume. Good luck and best wishes.

Hello Cliff,
Your very welcome. Sorry it took so long to get back, been a little busy between driving all over the UP for work and driving all over the UP for a medical Benefit I'm doing for my nephew.
I totally agree with the knowledge gained.... I friend of mine once told me that when you think you know everything that when you become a total ass, so I guess that will never happen to me:)
We are going to have a page, hopefully this summer that shows some of our "favorite" products to use but in most situations each is different and requires different equipment per specs. Example would be the last PV system I sized used poly-crystalline modules, the one I am working on now is an upgrade to an exhisting system that uses the uni-solar laminate modules that we really don't like messing with. So its mostly a case by case situation.
I have no problem with you pushing my site, we are all in this together and in this industry we all tend to scratch one anothers back from time to time. I will admit though, we are every small....2 of us all the time and it looks like we are going to have to outsource to contractors this summer if all goes as well as we hope.
I checked your website out and you have some pretty amazing prices for some of your equipment. Are you more of a distibutor than an installer? As for those very colorful wind generators, I have never seen those in all my travels. They are pretty cool looking, but my concern for up here would be the ice/snow/extreme cold factors and them being made of a hard plastic. If you have any cut sheets on them I'd be interested in looking over it. What kind of warrenty do they carry?
Brief note on tankless water heaters...they work great if you nat gas, but when you have LP you have to use a second regulator and it becomes interesting especially when your taking a shower and the LP tank pressure flucuates and the water heater stops making hot water for a min or two. My ex-inlaws have one so I've experienced that once or twice. Let me tell you not fun. I would also imagine it might be hard to intergate a solar water heating system with that since there is no tank to use for your back up heating. I'll have to look into that.

Have a great day!
Holly

That is great to here. I will admit it can be very interesting to be in this business. You have a wide variety of people that yuo will talk to in pursiut of a sale. You'll also encounter the ones that are just looking for knowledge and you have to do it all. There are many great places to get the required information to become successful in this industry. And it makes it very challenging right now cause the whole of RE is on the up sweep of a wave that is going to crest for a very long time. My advice to you would be get your hands dirty by doing as much yourself as you can, its a great learning experience. Also go to www.the-mrea.org website. They have an AWESOME! fair that is coming up June 18-21 near Stevens Point WI. People come to this fair from all over the world to learn the lastest and greatest and make lasting connections. Hope to maybe see you there, I will be there from June 17- 22.
And by all means, if you have questions or just need to talk about tech give me a shout!
