Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I can't afford it, but would like to have PVC on my roof, an electric car, and pay a reasonable proportion of my annual income on energy again.
What excites you about this campaign?
It excites me in that it uses wind...at least a renewable. But what really gets me excited is the level of anxiety I experience by having an oil man capitulate, sell his holdings in coal and announce he's going to "Save America." I suspect that Pickens is willing to short oil while he establishes a new way to hook everyone up to already established distribution centers (gas stations) to yet another energy source where he profits beyond our wildest dreams. One of the "whales" as we say in Vegas had to break rank and go with a new plan...but the plan had to be one where the infrastructure already established could be used to exploit the masses. CNG, huh? Well, America is just broke enough and desperate enough to reach out and grab what they see as the only life raft in sight. What's wrong with the electric battery and PVC? That much energy independence for Americans just doesn't fit your business model, does it Boone? Oh, brother.
What do you want to do to help?
Watch how this unfolds as a patriot.

'Green-collar' jobs a growth area, U.S. group says

Companies are stepping up their environmental initiatives, and that may mean a boom in "green-collar" jobs.

A recent forecast by the American Solar Energy Society found that renewable energy and energy-efficient industries were responsible for the creation of nearly 8.5 million jobs in 2006, and by 2030 that number is expected to reach 40 million.

Colleges and universities are taking notice, according to Challenger, Gray & Christmas Inc., a job placement consulting group.

Many have introduced specialized degree programs in eco-commerce, environmental accounting, green and social marketing, and ecological economics.

"The demand for 'green-collar' jobs is really exploding, especially as the cost of energy continues to climb," said John Challenger, the group's chief executive. "Students need to start thinking about developing skills that will give them an edge for these types of careers that did not even exist until recently."

Popular jobs include urban planners, forestry professionals and environmental lawyers, Challenger said. There is also a growing demand for architects and engineers with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, a Washington, D.C.-based non-profit.

Here is a report on the electric battery and the EV1 GM car that was taken off the market. All of them sent to the crusher. I knew someone in Malibu that had one. She loved it. It went over 50 miles on one charge. This was five years ago. GM says the demand wasn't high enough despite lots of promotion. If it had lots of promotion, why aren't more people aware that it existed?

Germany has weather just like upstate NY ( Syracuse) and it rains every other day there! I know Oregon and Washington is very rainy, but if Germany can do it....why not here.

Here in Henderson, we're not so far from Yucca Mountain, and with our instability, storing the nation's nuclear waste is not a popular idea. Nuclear waste stays toxic for a very long time.

At some point, we must evaluate our process of information filtration. Lies have been told, but not evrything told is a lie, and big companies make big profits, but this does not make them or their shephards inherently evil.
As for the technology I have done a good bit (but by no means exhaustive) and have found no model for extended trip battery powered vehicles that are production ready. Solar power may work for pockets of the country, but th evidence, and on this I have done much homework, is clear and overwhelming; homes that can generate 100% or more of their energy use are the slim minority. For example I live in the pacific northwest where we saw a 4 month period in 2005-2006 with only 3 days that did not rain. This is the average not extreme, and the entire northern stretch of our country sees similar low amounts of sun light. Solar is a great supplemental source, but offers little to currently supply all of our energy needs, without the burden of battery cars.
If we could improve the technology of battery and employ nuclear power generation facilities across the nation, we will be able to realize your dream, in 25 years. Unfortuneately before that happens, the country will be bankrupt and fiscally devastated due to our historically unprecednted transfer of wealth we are capitualating to with foreign oil entities. My grandfather lived through the great depression and told me repeatedly to never be so arrogant as to belive it couldnt happen to us. And it will because of this wealth transfer if we do not react now.

The problem with electric batteries is that they have to be charged. Where are we going to get the electricity to charge them? If we simply switch to batteries then we are going to need more power and that will increase the demand on coal (not as clean for environment, and not as sustainable), the demand on nuclear (not able to support any more demand because no new nuke facilities have been built in 20 years), as well as the demand on natural gas.
Further more the technology just isntt there to sustain an electric vehicle more than 25 miles on a single charge. America is not able to immediately switch to only 25 miles traveled followed by a 6 hr wait to charge period. The 'battery switch station' argument is flawed in that so many batteries would have to be produced that our land fills and waste resource centers would be quickly over run.
This plan isn't perfect, but it keeps us from collapse while we develop and implement a plan that is better.

I have an agenda.....

My life's goal is to have all residential property co-generating electricity in North America by 2025. Little know fact it's only 25% of entire North American Grid Consumption.
This is attainable we have the technology and the man-power.....
We must start now!!!! Time for talk is over.....

I have introduced the Boldest Solar/Housing Initiative ever put forth...
Entire subdivisions of low-cost Modulars with little to no electric bill that retail from $79,900 to $149,900 680sq 2/1 to 1380sq 3/2.
Meets the need for low-cost housing and helps over Stressed Grid during PEAK_USAGE hrs as entire subdivisions come on-line becoming virtual mini-generating stations.

As well as helps the environment…

Win-win-win.
It is the short term solution to a long term problem.......

Now that I have come home to South Georgia....
it is time to enlist All the help with this I can get.
I need more R & D with my new patent Idea an will be asking for Ga Tech's help.....with the SOLAR POWERED RECIRCULATOR GENERATOR which will drive the cost of production down by almost 60% and will also be going back to Washington DC in this election year to demand more from our "so called elected or soon-to-be-elected officials".

I am in negotiations with Roger Little of Spire Solar in Mass to build a 100mw manufacturing plant in Liberty County Ga.

My plan is simple mix Roger's little assembly line with RapidModular.com's walling panels to produce under one roof the
Structures of the future.

I have a Confidential Private Placement Memorandum near
Completion. I am only letting 35 non-accredited investors in
before turning it over to the Investment Banker Wolves....
they are already at the door.....

Day after day I've watched helplessly as every sector of our once great economy has become weaker and weaker. Food prices soar, home utility cost sky rocket, airfare, insurance, auto expenses whats next? Just today a hard working young man told me "Patrick I would love to enroll in a life insurance policy to protect my familys' future incase anything happens, but I gotta buy gas and food" Another victim in mainstream America my friends. What is it going to take for us to tell them ENOUGH!!! It boils down to a simple decision...... ACT NOW or PAY DEARLY LATER!!! We're not asking for your soul, your money or your vote. Simply for you to click your mouse and join any of the local groups. Please do so. Your children and theirs will be greatful and maybe they'll have a better understanding.

Good point, Jon! I meant Americans collectively. If Mccain wins this round, I think I'll have to start shopping around for a more democratic country.
