I want to get a Haynesville "street team" going to get the film into
communities across the country via house parties and community
screenings. The movie is a great way to educate people as to the
potential of natural gas as a clean, domestic energy source/fuel. So
many people said they were not good at community outreach because they
didn't know what to say. Well, this film does the talking for you!!!
It is an independently produced film which means it is a grassroots
film for a grassroots organization! I'd like all State and District
Leaders to get a copy. We have all worked very hard on this movement
and I think this film will make our job even easier. Please tell your
friends on and off the web about the film via your blog or website and
please get your own copy of the DVD to show to people in your area
such as your friends and family, schools, churches, business groups,
etc.
Please contact me if you have any questions or ideas.

Dale, Apparently this is the first time I have been back to the website since March?? Unbelievable. What brings me back now, is my interest in wind power and I saw where you followed up on the company that has the turbines in Altona. I haven't heard more about that, but if I do, I will let you know. However, I was wondering if you had seen two guest commentary's in the Asheville Citizen-Times, recently. The first one was written by Ralph Hise, who is the mayor of Spruce Pine, on August 9th. The second was written by David Gantt, a Buncombe County commissioner and lawyer in Asheville, on August 27th. Hise lives in Mitchell County and that county has had lots of bad things happen to it over the years. Apparently, they had someone interested in building turbines on one of their mountains that was already denuded because of mining, and the state senators are trying to pass Senate Bill 1068 which would effectively stop their project. Gantt is for preserving the beauty of the mountains. I contend that we can have both, and also that the site Hise is talking about would look better, not worse, were it left alone. I think there are good sites here. App State has long had a windmill program, and people can access county maps that show the extent of wind on each ridgeline. Also, MoveOn.org has been selling beautiful windmill stickers and I got one for my car. Have you seen them? Have you seen the guest commentaries I have been talking about? There have been a few good letters, too. However, when I wrote one to the paper, it was not published. Hoping to hear from you soon. Enjoy your Labor Day weekend. Susan Wilson
Hey Dale, hope you enjoy your time with your new Grandkid, I'll be going to Miami soon to see my grandson. By the way that location of the atlanta bread company is'nt in Hendersonville, it's on Hendersonville rd. in Biltmore pass I40 on the left heading towards Biltmore forest, see ya soon my friend.
Hey Dale, Conrad here, How are you stranger? I saw Mummford on the news the other night in the parking lot of dripolater threatening the towing companies, he should get rebates for the people who have been towed, what do you think? only kidding. Listen, I go every Tueseday morning to a prayer group at Atlanta bread company in biltmore on hedersonville rd. and there is plenty of seating and parking if your interested, good coffee and sweets too. Now back to this bailout crap, I'm totally ticked that this wanna be Government of ours is using our taxes to bail out these banks that have missused our funds to do what they want to do and lose it all and continue to ask for more, I'm hurting and the banks won't bail me out, go figure, they just continue to harass and threaten me when I'm ten days late with a payment, who's harassing and threatening them?we should take the bailout and help the good American people and let the banks that can't survive take a hike, their insured, we need less of them anyways, everytime I turn around some poor small business is going out of business, but just look around and you will see a bank under construction, does'nt make any sense, or does it. Well I need to calm down now, half my name is starting to come out, rad might be short for radiical. Talk to you soon Dale. p.s. hopefully in the future I can be more optimistic about our government and banking system.
Dale, This was a link I received in an email from a friend in the North Country, where I used to live. I would really like to hear your comments on this story and there are other links, too, at the website. Noble Environmental Power Confirms Altona Turbine Collapse - News Story - WPTZ Plattsburgh

Dale, I just sent this email to Senator McCain and wanted you to see it.
Dear Senator McCain,
I would like to urge you to reconsider your position on the Stimulus package currently before the Senate. How would it help the country were it not to pass? The country might depend on you and others to tweak it, but I hardly think the message is to do away with it. How would that make America a better place? You can say that it imposes an undue burden on future generations, but is that not what the bank and financial corporation bail-out does for future generations? Maybe if that had not occurred on the Republican watch, it would be easier to believe that about the current Stimulus package. However, the difference is that this package will supply something that will allow the present generation to last long enough to make and provide for the future generations. The Bail-out simply went to the greedy who never had any intention of doing anything with it except making sure they lined their own featherbeds. Whose errors in judgment and oversight was that? Bottom line, tweak it, fine; anything else, you must decline. Please support the Stimulus Package
We have sent over 30,000 messages to our Senators in just 2 days. THIS IS THE MOMENT WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR. Real action is on the table. Let them hear from us.
Boone's team has made it so easy - it takes just one minute to forward a simple message to your Senators. PLEASE do it today. Please get the folks in your home, family and office to do the same.
