I believe in alternative energy; it is the way to go. Alternative energy is the field in which I am choosing to invest my time and future.

Personal experiences include knowledge of wind, solar, hydro, geothermal, tidal solutions and more from an enthusiastic citizen's point of view.

Currently seeking offers to be a part of the right team with a solution to a specific energy challenge. You will find that my people skills, passion and integrity would be a great benefit for the right organization.

What excites you about this campaign?

It is a logical first step! It will buy time until a bigger solution can be mastered and technology has advanced to support that solution.

All children, including those not yet born, deserve the same great freedom and opportunity that my fore fathers worked so hard to give me. This campaign starts a solution.

What do you want to do to help?

I am a part of the solution.

With San Diego as my base, I am seeking a reputable company or organization that would benefit from my ability to connect people, that forwards the cause of the PickensPlan.

The larger our membership the more likely we will be successful in getting Congress to provide effective incentives for alternative and renewable energies and in insuring that our future president will treat energy independence as a matter of the greatest urgency, applying the same kind of leadership as JFK exercised when he led us with his stirring challenge to put a man on the moon in 10 years. Please take the time today to bring 5 new members to the site.

THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
…to wait and see…or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost. How frightening to think that we could be looking back and apologizing to our children that we chose not to get this done when we had the chance.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS
We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Write to your Congressman/woman. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan. Print downloadable flyers and put them in your car and/or business window.

YOU MAY FEEL INSIGNIFICANT
Individually, we each feel the same way, but together we will lay the foundation for a stronger, more prosperous and more secure America. Thanks again for joining us in this historical effort!
