- For many years I have always been interested in energy efficiency and its progression within the USA.We are the greatest country in the world with our innovations,ideas,etc. but so lax when it comes to utilization,enforcement, maintenance and consistency of that which is already in place.We seem to get it done but not until the last minute ,then it's rushed and has to be modified and/or corrected several times to get the initial planned results working as it should.We need to get ahead of it all and stay there for the sake of all of us and our future generations if we expect to stay strong and free.We have only one life and one world,We need to respect and care and use each as if it is forever, because it is, as far as we know.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- It's good to see someone as Thomas Boone Pickens with the ability and knowledge to get the interest up and the project going..it's been dormant far too long and the country has been suffering form the lack of leadership to the point of no return.We have the resources,we have the ability,now we must make the effort and get us to energy independence.Everyone must do their part to see this through to fruition, for we are all in this together for today,tomorrow and the future of our country and the world.

Tomorrow at 11:00 am PST, Jeff Green Florida State Leader will be on The Green Revolution Show. We will be discussing the NAT GAS ACT and what we have to do to get it passed. Naturally we would like you and all the good Nevada Pickens People to participate. Details are listed under events. With a little luck maybe we will hear from a Senator or Congressperson.

EMAIL A LETTER TO YOUR REPRESENTATIVES -
This is urgent, because the Energy Bill in Congress is in danger of not passing! We are blessed that the creators of this site have given us the ability, with little effort, to send a letter to our Representatives in Washington and Governor, too.
Go to THE PLEDGE (at the very top of this page on the blue header) On the top of the pledge page there are three rectangular buttons- two blue ones and ONE RED BUTTON, that reads "CONTACT CONGRESS" . Fill in the short, standard form. Done!
You CAN ALSO HELP BY BRINGING 5 FOLKS TO JOIN the site today, so that we can build a voice big enough that Congress will finally have to listen to us, instead of the lobbyists and special interests, who will certainly try to derail this historic effort.
YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE PLEDGE on the main page. Print out 10 or more of them, get them signed and fax them back ASAP. When we are millions strong, we can achieve this.
THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
…to wait and see…or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS
We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan.
A GROUP FOR EVERYONE Check out the many groups for Solar, CNG, your area, etc. Connect, learn and share. We grow stronger with your input. If you don't see a group that speaks to your interest, then start a group of your own.
