Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:: Limited. Very limited. And that is very sad.

What excites you about this campaign?: The fact that someone is stepping up and sending messages out to the American people and forcing them to take responsibility for the future of their country excites me about this campaign. It is a shame that someone has to talk to us like we are small minded children in order to make any progress for the sake of our future. I am thankful that someone is making it easy for us to be proactive, because laziness seems to be a big factor in how we got here: as long as oil was getting the job done, why not pay the extra few cents that gas has been costing, even though we are making a devastating ecological footprint in our environment and we are not using our most efficient resources when we should be. Now that gas is at a record high and we are seeing how it effects our economy (and essentially our luxuries in life) and more people are seeing how urgent this truly is. This campaign has offered new hope in our job to save our environment and our economy.

TRANSPORTATION is the master key to basic survival, and the cornerstone of the economy. We all know that transportation presently depends on oil production, and oil production is peaking. We must focus first on transportation – it is the highest priority. The PickensPlan to transition vehicles to natural gas is a great start toward 100% energy independence, but is a stop-gap measure till we can transition to all electric transportation. Electric energy is strained without adding transportation demands; so we must implement drastic efficiency improvement.
Evacuated Tube Transport (ETT) is a patented technology where travel occurs without air friction or rolling resistance (like “Space Travel on Earth”); ETT can accomplish 50 times more transportation per kWh (or carbon credit) than electric cars or trains.
