Dave,
Your idea about opening a CNG re-fueling facility or as we say in Texas, "a fillin' station", sounds to me like a helluva worthwhile one. If as I believe the future will be--and sooner than later---a significant number of Americans will be driving on CNG. Those entreprenuers that have CNG pumps in place ahead of the likely stampead will be the ones that will be the most prosperous.
With the "army" now approaching 1,600,000 (certainly most, if not all of whom are adults) the total awareness of the benefits of CNG should be known by 10 times that 1.6 million or 16 million Americans. That number of informed people constitutes a real healthy base market.
We have the fuel reserves: we need the re-fueling facilities and the vehicles. HELLO GM, FORD, CHRYSLER/FIAT, CATERPILLAR, NAVISTAR, CUMMINGS, etc.
again, you have a good idea;hope you can press forward on it.
Hook 'em from Texas.
Al Langford
PS: As I'm sure you know, the Marcellus shale formation runs through eastern Ohio, so the Buckeye State's economy stands to benefit significantly from the transition to natural gas
PLEASE email the Pickens Plan video to everyone you know. Ask them to join. Ask them to pass it along. Time is of the essence. If every member had 10 friends join today, we could put the number of members over 1 million very quickly!
If we can not get critical numbers how can we take advantage of this golden opportunity? High gas prices have "woken up" America to our plight and a paradigm shift like not other is in the wind. We need to do this now.
So many new members write "I want to help, what can I do?" This is a start. We may not get to the next step if we can not get this one done.
Our leaders can not ignore millions of members of the Pickens Plan. We are not there yet. One person can make a difference.
