However altruistic his intentions are, it is a workable plan that can do just what he says. I don't care who makes the money as long as we can break the stronghold those Muslims have on our country.

Our $700 Billion/year is going towards funding terrorist activities against us in the future. Cut off the money, cut off the problem...

We can do it when we have the WILL and even if gas prices drop to under $1.00/per gallon we need to break the cycle, once and for all. Delete Comment

There is a perfect storm of events happening right now that create the possibility of a paradigm shift that is urgently needed. We have an angry citizenry due to pain at the pump, a presidential election on the horizon, and a man with a plan to dramatically and imminently reduce our dependance on foreign oil, and provide a bridge to future solutions, who has the resources, contacts, knowledge, wealth and "will" to get it done.

Please share this plan with your circle of friends, family and associates. Urge them to JOIN. As you know, it is simply like signing a petition. With large numbers of supporters, we can put pressure to bear on Congress to incentivize alternative and renewable energies, and insure that our future president will be a leader that will push for domestic energy solutions. JFK once said. "in the next 10 years we will put a man on the moon". He got it done. We need that kind of leadership on energy.

Time is of the essence. If gas prices retreat the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost. How frightening to be looking back and apologizing to our children that we could not get this done when we had the chance.

Pickens can't singlehandedly solve the problem of the $700B outflow to pay for foreign oil, much of which money ends up in unfriendly hands. That is why he is asking each member to sign up 5 others members on the Pickens Plan. Surely you know at least five other people that would support a real plan to reduce our dependence on foreign oil NOW... please take this to heart; the survival of our leadership position in the world and our economic prosperity at home is at stake – please contact your friends, family, neighbors and our legislators today.

PS. If Pickens succeeds all forms of alternative energy will benefit from this movement. He has a workable, achievable plan. All viable AE solutions will get a huge boost if the Plan can reach 1M members in 2008.
