Paraboloid concentrators reflecting to a focal ring will be much more versatile in harvesting solar energy. The polar filament wound structures cost much less per watt of power harvested than silicone wafers. Harvested would be heat, freezing, ind...

Hi PP member,
Please checkout this website, as this is a Sun, Heat and Wind energy system in one, please give us your feedback as we try to improve it.

Hey Dean,

Cool, you just fired off 'trips' of derived applications for my CSP-DG technology!

Profile Information

Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I was a lead developer of LNG tanks made of lightweight carbon epoxy for ATK Thiokol. I was the most proactive of the plant energy team. I conceptualized an optimum weight wind turbine blade. I composed a winding machine used to repair oversight hoop reinforcements for highway overpasses. It was initially designed to wind hoops over a completed shuttle booster segment joint to counter joint rotation and o-ring leakage.
What excites you about this campaign?
The resurrection of so many orphaned ideas regarding energy is exciting.

Only solvent extraction of oil from powdered oil shale is practical because the solvent can be recycled with solar energy at the beginning of the refinement process.
What do you want to do to help?
Debate with any nay sayers.

milking the most from insulation via design

The recognition that less wood in outer walls means more insulation in same walls totals 11% energy savings for the lifetime of the wood framed house. If every outer wall vertical stud is part of a whole house truss, 71% of dimensional lumber and associated energy to fabricate it can be removed from the total. The low energy house and truly affordable house can co-exist.
