Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

I am a concerned citizen who tries to be conservative with all resources. As a consumer I feel we have limited and insignificant choices that could impact our energy situation. I am an educator who works with ten school systems in the area of science.

What excites you about this campaign?

This is exciting, because it is the only campaign for change in our entire country. For years I have wondered why America continued to slip into Middle Eastern dependency for oil. Lack of leadership has kept us from galvanizing as a cohesive voice. It is difficult to imagine that our leaders failed to plan for the future of our country..... since the 1970s. Thank you Mr. Pickens for bringing our ideas, views, and concerns together.

What do you want to do to help?

I would like to serve on a committee for solar energy regions to research, support, and present initiatives that would provide home and business energy alternatives.

Windspire will be featured on a special episode of ABC's "20/20" on June 19th at 10/9C. The episode highlights the impact the new Windspire manufacturing facility is having in Michigan by putting ex-autoworkers back to work.

What do ya think? I searched for local groups in my area, Spokane WA. and I found one for Eastern WA. If you go to notes at the top of the page you might find a group in your area. The fact that its listed under notes is kind of strange.....Carol
