Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

I have been working to get alternative energy inmy home for the past year. I have watched my electric bill soar in price over the past year without any reasoning, I have made numerous calls to the electric company and no one can help me determine how my use went from 1400kw to 4000kw in 30days and has stayed there for almost a year.

It is time we are free from this abuse, and power. I am in a perfect area for solar but cannot use it until we determine where the surge of energy is coming from in my home.

What excites you about this campaign?

I beleive this is the only way we can survive in this country. We have to make ourselves as independant as possible from oil, and traditional utilites.

What do you want to do to help?

I am willing to work to spread the word, in my community there are many of us who have been talking about this for years. The biggest deterant is cost for individual familes.

I would be willing to do whatever I can to help in this movement.

I am wondering what you think of the cap and trade proposed by the president? It seems to be a little over the top cost wise and these costs will be off set to the American people and many do not know about this. I do think it will push alternative energy or green energy but at what cost?

It also harms the way you sell your home. It must pass a gov. inspec. before you can sell it. This is already over seen by your states laws. Why would you have to up grade to sell your own home. The buyer would know if he or she likes your home the way it is or not? Cap and trade will harm all forms of US made power in some way. Cap and trade never worked in the E.U. And the true father of cap and trade is ENRON: this is a fact from the 90s. G.E. wind power was also owned by ENRON. Is cap and trade goes its a bad deal for America. I hope this helps.

PLEASE email the Pickens Plan video to everyone you know. www.pickensplan.com. Ask them to JOIN. Ask them to pass it along. Time is of the essence. If every member had 10 friends join today, we could put the number of members over 1 million very quickly!

If we can not get critical numbers how can we take advantage of this golden opportunity? High gas prices have "woken up" America to our plight and a paradigm shift like not other is in the wind. We need to do this now.

So many new members write "I want to help, what can I do?" This is a start. We may not get to the next step if we can not get this one done.

Our leaders can not ignore millions of members of the Pickens Plan. We are not there yet. One person can make a difference.
