I am unsure of what an LTE is and I would encourage people to read the act first. Nothing against it, but if I'm going to stand behind something I want to know what it says.

- What excites you about this campaign?
- I think a grassroots effort to evoke change is the way to go. If the people and corporations DEMAND change and initiate it themselves it will happen.
- What do you want to do to help?
- Educate organizations and groups about technology such as LEDs, etc. For example what if the city used LEDs for street lamps? Fluorescent is NOT the way to go, LEDs are. Teaching people about the misinformation they are getting, such as ethanol for vehicles, etc. I am a good public speaker and willing to help.

Natural Gas Act of 2009 or H.R. 1835
I recently sent this letter via Pickens Plan form, rather than the standard cookie cutter form. I am pretty good at writing letters to gov't and usually get a phone call back. Anyway, you need to appeal to their perspective.

Everyone has the option on their profile page to do many things. Everywhere it says (Edit) click and you can customize.
Find (settings) upper right corner of your page. You can update your profile, change the manner you receive things. You can chose to preview the comments coming your way before it can be viewed by others on your page.
Every time you write a comment anywhere you’ll see a little tiny (symbol) of sort in the upper right corner of that comment or post; click on it and delete your note. You can still do it months later.
Pres. Obama has a site for us to go and voice our vision for the country/world.
Please really put some deep thought let them hear your vision for the country/world.

WE ALL need to do our part by beginning at home with our energy usage. We also need to keep hammering our elected officials to allow companies and the private sector to run with new tech and needed infrastructure changes; allowing grants & incentives to help us achieve the energy independence goal!!!
A huge help; for those like myself, (not comfortable face to face or good at speaking). Here are links to 2 places that you can easily drop a note to Newspapers and to your congressmen.
For the Newspaper site; What I do is compose a short letter (200 words) in my word program, allowing my spelling check as I’m a sandbox grad, I’ll even cut and paste “with permission” with energy concerns. Copy the letter and paste it in the message box, of this site , which after entering your zip gives you almost every paper in your area. Hit send, & Presto you’re done. Pick a couple of papers at a time and if you could do this once a week you will be helping!
next= click to another link to write your congressmen. It will be preloaded with a general message. Please cut and paste to make it more personal.
We ask you also paste and copy your letter to your district leader. Touch with them and they can give you an e-mail address, as Pickens Plan site mail has a character # limit.
There is a group for almost everything. Type any word of a topic that you would like to see. Do not be afraid to go clickin crazy!!!
The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event. Check out this; a members thoughts as to the present state of our nation.
