- I have very to little personal experience with alternative energy. I have done a considerable amount of research about renewable energy, carbon emissions and green house gases. I am also very involved in the EPA Smartway Program.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- First and foremost reducing our dependence on foreign oil and having a short to medium term solution for solving our nations soon to be very critical energy problems. As a Senior Executive who has been involved in the over the road trucking industry for 15 years I see that it is critical to have another alternative to diesel which is critical to delivering goods to our economy. This is the first plan I have seen that addresses that issue.
- What do you want to do to help?
- Anything I can. One thought that just came to mind is share my expertise about the trucking industry and educate them on the alternatives that might be available to power our commercial vehicles with Natural Gas.

This year I have helped so many members learn about personal home energy plans. It's all about power use, conservation, and home power generation, things I have been doing at my residence to lower my energy costs. BTW, oklahoma: I just posted an article about Home Wind Systems in oklahoma. Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "soft policy" on Net Metering. Instead they have the tables turned against green power for businesses and homeowners. You should read that article, important.
