- I am a candidate for State Rep. in Dist. 1 , McCurtain County(Oklahoma House of Representatives). I will be looking for ways to reach these goals outlined by T.Boone as my realm of responsibility will allow.

This year I have helped so many members learn about personal home energy plans. It's all about power use, conservation, and home power generation, things I have been doing at my residence to lower my energy costs. BTW, oklahoma: I just posted an article about Home Wind Systems in oklahoma. Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "soft policy" on Net Metering. Instead they have the tables turned against green power for businesses and homeowners. You should read that article, important.

I attended a T Boone meeting in McAlester,OK. this week and appreciate that the country seems ready to back some real plans to advance this cause. I believe the people with the investment capital will make this happen and the Government (at all levels) needs to see that the doors are open!!!
The onshore and offshore installation of wind turbines in Denmark and Germany are producing 20% of all their electrical needs; in Spain, as much as 38% (please see examples in the photos on my page). We are 10 years behind in implementation compared to these countries!
I mention these examples to give us a direction for inspiration and point to where we could be heading with the Pickens Plan. The technology is already there and we do not have to reinvent the wheel. Americans need to mobilize and pressure our government representatives both on the state and national level. The Pickens Plan is a good place to foster discussion and share ideas and PUSH this plan!
