- I have designed and built a number of Solar/Wind/Battery Hybrid portable power plants for transient communications faciliities over the years.
I have been following Windfarm Energy production for several years, now, and I am an avid proponent, I have also been looking into Tidal-Turbine Energy, as well.
Recently, I have been researching Hydrogen Supplementation for current Gasoline powered vehicles, but I am not sure where that will go (or not).
- What excites you about this campaign?
- Finally, an Industrialist that can make good ideas happen.
Technology is great, but, unfortunately, we live in a world where MONEY can trump IDEAS. Without a T.Boone Pickens, things are much slower, and ideas that are ahead of their time are destined for failure without such a person.
- What do you want to do to help?
- Initially, explore and exchange ideas.
Perhaps later, actually work on some of these projects.

I just got a new computer with VISTA. My old one was antideluvian and was rapidly loosing its ability to function at all. I have SKYPE up and running and I have a high speed internet connection but my webcam does not have a VISTA compatible driver. I am working on that problem next. It is too bad about Starcom. Have you heard anything from the folks that were running it and the parent company? Everyone seems to have evaporated into the weeds. I am doing a lot of writing and some consulting. We should get together to compare notes.

$700 BILLION PER YEAR
We are transferring $700 billion each year, 7 trillion in the next 10 years, to unstable and antagonistic regimes. Americans are angry and ready as never before, to take dramatic steps to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. A plan to replace foreign oil with American solutions has appeared on the horizon, we intend to help Pickens turn this hope into reality- energy independance for our country.
SHARE THE PLAN
with your circle of friends, family and associates. Urge them to JOIN. From your own experience you know it is very much like simply signing a petition. The larger our membership the more likely we will be successful in getting Congress to provide effective incentives for alternative and renewable energies and in insuring that our future president will treat energy independence as a matter of the greatest urgency, applying the same kind of leadership as JFK exercised when he led us with his stirring challenge to put a man on the moon in 10 years.
THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
…to wait and see…or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost. How frightening to think that we could be looking back and apologizing to our children that we chose not to get this done when we had the chance.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS
We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Write to your Congressman/woman. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan. Print downloadable flyers and put them in your car and/or business window.
YOU MAY FEEL INSIGNIFICANT
Individually, we each feel the same way, but together we will lay the foundation for a stronger, more prosperous and more secure America. Thanks again for joining us in this historical effort!
