- Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
- Yes
- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- I have melted lead with sunlight with $5 worth of equipment. I was a computer scientist and left that field 15 years ago to do a study on global warming.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- Mr Pickens is on the right track -- follow the money trail. Money dictates most of mankind's endeavors.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I desire to give you the results of 15 years of research. Mr. Pickens may wish to implement one or two of the solutions. There are no companies involved. I was self-funded.
I really want to work on your team as an employee. I have expended my resources and have been living on social security for some time now. Nevertheless, I mostly desire to give Mr. Pickens the results of my research. I no longer have the assets required to implement teh solutions.

IDEAS & PROPOSALS FOR PICKENS I know that many of you have great ideas and proposals that you would like to get in front of Boone's team...
They asked us to have you submit all ideas/proposals in writing to the Pickens Plan at: PO Box 12123 Dallas TX 75225.
Please keep me posted as I'm curious as to your extensive thoughts and research.

Do reach out to Chris and Jeff. ALSO, please add as many folks as you can to the plan by manually inputting their info. I add 2 per day. Since August, I have added 650 new supporters. As long as Boone is wiling to push as hard as he is I will continue to put my head down and plow like hell. When will we ever have a chance like this again?

Is there a leader for FL-08? Reach out and offer to help- it is a dream come true for most leaders to have help offered. If there is not one reach out to your area leader form PIckens (the folks with the blue bands under their names - look at featured members and hit view all, you should see them all)
As a district- the first charge is to build numbers locally. I would be happy to help you with strategies on how to accomplish this - we are the only district in the country to finish this task to date.
There are 2 great guys I work with in Florida. Chris Jone and Jeff Greene. Chris is a featured member currently - the one in white with Boone, wearing a white baseball cap (top right of your page)
Let me know how it goes. When you get to 100 we would be honored to have you in the 100CLUB!
We need good, focused people to help us move the ball forward.

Dick Weidenhoffer said… - As an analyst, I am only good at one thing: I solve complex problems. One of the primary functions of computers is to put people out of work. Mr. Pickens knows we need to put 10,000 coal miners out of work if we are to actually get the job done. He circumvents the issue for obvious reasons.
I have been self funded for 15 years and need to rejoin the work force. Mr. Pickens Plan will not reduce our trade deficit because the US produces the coal that is burned to produce our electricity. My project will reduce our trade deficit by 10% at a minimum. I guarantee it. We import other things besides oil but oil is involved.
We are also responsible for fossil fuels consumed by other countries in the production of our imports.
I have answers but knowledge without action is nothing.
I will come and brief but it would be easier for me to brief in orlando if you have trusted staff here. I spent over $300k on the project not counting manhours. If not, I will come to Dallas.
Computers are all about money and manpower. The people polluting our air and water are making people sick. They do it because if they processed the waste, their profits would dissappear. I am sorry but I know how to put them out of business.

There is a perfect storm of events happening right now that create the possibility of a paradigm shift that is urgently needed. We have an angry citizenry due to pain at the pump, a presidential election on the horizon, and a man with a plan to dramatically and imminently reduce our dependance on foreign oil, and provide a bridge to future solutions, who has the resources, contacts, knowledge, wealth and "will" to get it done.
Please share this plan with your circle of friends, family and associates. Urge them to JOIN. As you know, it is simply like signing a petition. With large numbers of supporters, we can put pressure to bear on Congress to incentivize alternative and renewable energies, and insure that our future president will be a leader that will push for domestic energy solutions. JFK once said. "in the next 10 years we will put a man on the moon". He got it done. We need that kind of leadership on energy.
Time is of the essence. If gas prices retreat the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost. How frightening to be looking back and apologizing to our children that we could not get this done when we had the chance.
