Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I study it constantly because one of my profession. I am involved in leader development, both with the military and private companies, specifically, how to build adaptive leaders and learning organizations. I claim in my next book out this fall, that the worse strategic mistake our nation has made is not moving to alternative energy when we had a good chance due to the 73 Oil Embargo
What excites you about this campaign?
I am fiscally conservative, but a member of neither party. I believe in strategic leaders in the private sector taking charge and showing us the way because the natonal strategic leaders are afraid. I think this is great of Mr. Pickens to do this. He has the best of both worlds, he does something great for all of us, and makes a great living at it.
What do you want to do to help?
Please pass to Mr. Pickens my compliments. I am considered one of the most influential leader developers on the nation (see my web page at www.donvandergriff.com), and that title comes from prominent academics and general officers. I would like to be part of his organization. Right now, I run a workshop, which is in high demand, on how to be adaptive and innovative. The Army has bought into my new learning model called Adaptive Leader Methodology (ALM).

VANDERGRIFF's 12-point solution to our problems...

Vandergriff’s 12-point solution to our problems…
July 29, 2008

While the Pickens Plan is a great start, other initiatives must also occur alongside Pickens Plan.

We are now facing the greatest catastrophic crisises in the history of our nation. If we don’t act now, TODAY, and start the transition, our nation will spiral into chaos. Sadly, the information, the resources (though strained), and the will of the people can make this happen, but it must happen now if we are to preserve the nation an… Continue

Vesting the masses in Pickens Plan

I was talking to an individual last night at the sports bar where I play amateur poker. I told him about the Pickens Plan, and he was interested. But, then he said, I would love to invest some money, but I don't have much. I responded with, "that is an idea, to get millions involved, if we could do stocks at 20.00 dollars a share, or something like that." He said he "could invest a 100.00 or so, and it would get the common man involved. We have been left behind in this country, but we love it al… Continue

As Virginia's 11th Congressional District leader for the Pickens Plan, I invite you and your list of friends to join the Pickens Plan District Group VA-11. We are currently organizing neighborhood Captains to help spread the word. This is an exciting time and the first 100 days of the new administration needs to hear our voice. I look forward to working with you in the future and thank you for your desire to make a difference.

Don't forget to join the group.

You have some impressive statistics. I also worked for the Army in the 1970's and 80's as a Russian linguist. I was an instructor at the joint forces school on Goodfellow AFB, in Texas.
I agree with your assessment, and the answers with Solar and other alternative energy sources.
I want to get going as an owner/installation provider, but with a unified approach towards several energy sources. Another company on the East coast took my name idea, but it is possible they will release it if I can begin it at a significant level of development.
My idea is to create integrated energy systems that reduce the need for government to provide welfare-type support to elderly families and those who are disabled. And in addition, provide significant business support for solar power, since for business, it has the best and fastest payback, because wind is normally impractical unless the company has lots of empty land.
In Oklahoma, there just isn't an educational base for providing any such services, so the state is not doing it, except at a very minimal individual basis.
Since I was a Master Instructor and rewrote several manuals in the self-training style, I know what you are after in the development of leaders and just simple competence.
I requested you as a friend, but further than that, I believe I could help activate the resources necessary, next year, if you have a vision for development of alternative energy sources. I am working for the USPS, but will retire effective March,2009. I need to make some significant income to become fiscally independent, and the USPS is not a location where that is possible. Hello,

Please take a look at the executive summary on my page. We are in the process of establishing a nonprofit innovation laboratory in Houston Texas dedicated to inspiring young people to pursue technology careers and to the development of the next-generation of strategic technologies to meet our current global challenges. Alternative energy is a major focus of our program.
Right now, we are in need of people willing to sponsor our efforts or to finding sponsorship for us.
We believe this can be the beginning of an effort that can spread to other areas of the country and create a critical mass of new technology ideas and innovative technologists to meet the challenges.

Any assistance you could provide would be appreciated.

Best Regards,

Norman

I am complete the task of writing the business plan for Richard’s group “Finance the Pickens Plan" The investment is called the American Wind Investment Trust, LLC an unregistered close-end fund targeting accredited investors.

The fund plans to invest it money into wind or transmission projects using new and promising technologies that may have a problem is securing project financing because of credit worthiness or lack of product experience.
I am looking for trustees, investment committee members or advisory members for the fund. Should have an interest to be considered, I would love to hear from you.

The business plan is for review only, it not ready for prime time since we still must have our attorney review the business plan and lay out the LLC structure and tax benefits.
